Great high tea and impeccable service by the whole team!

The food on offer was scones, savoury bites, tuna sandwiches, egg salad sandwiches, and chicken and corn salad sandwiches, plus a variety of petite desserts. They even came around before closing and offered additional sandwiches and scones which was a nice touch.

Sparkling wine was also good and the espresso martini was a win. They also had a huge selection of teas.

Everyone on the team was super friendly and professional as well.

The view was spectacular and what was so great is that they didn’t rest on their location, they really do provide excellent food and service.

We will be back again!

Great high tea… same standards as QVB. I enjoyed their savoury over their sweets.
There is a time limit of how long you can stay. I went on a Sunday morning and it was extremely busy. Staff were hard to flag down at times.

It was such a lovely high tea with a fine selection of teas and sweet/savoury treats to compliment. Usually I’m a bit sceptical of the quality of food at these high tea places but all the dishes were delicious. The blackberry jam for the scones were so good. I enjoyed each and every one of the cakes and sandwiches! I took my mum here and it made a beautiful mother-daughter brunch for us. Parking was easy and the waiters came to refill the hot water for our teas several times. There were other children enjoying their high teas with their families too and it wasn’t overly noisy, very relaxing high tea with a beautiful view.

Be transported back in time and experience the ways how the elite have their tea with friends and family. The menu is great of course with a price for the experience, ambiance, excellent service and breathtaking view of course. Perfect venue for small office events, wedding or birthday parties with style.

Tips so not go to servers, they go to the owner, that's a terrible practice by the owners.

We got married at gunners barracks in December and the experience couldn’t have been better! The place is magical, the lead up to it was amazingly prepared by jasmine and the staff during the night was so nice and attentive! Gunners made everything nice and easy, I warmly recommend it to everyone who is looking for a wedding venue!

Our lunch-time wedding at Gunner's Barracks was amazing. The team do not rely on the fabulous location and view to keep their clients happy; they offer an extremely professional, well organised team and service. Yes the venue is wonderful, but the food and they way they cater to the needs of all guests is incredible. There was nothing more we could have asked for. A perfect day.

We had our wedding here in May 2022, and could not recommend Gunners enough! The beautiful view, building and surrounds, the wonderful staff, delicious food - this place truly does have it all for anyone to hold a special and intimate event. We’d do it all again if we could. The menu was outstanding, it was so hard to choose between the different dishes, and the staff were so kind and attentive the entire time, throughout planning and on the night. Many of our guests complimented us on our wedding, and I think the setting Gunners provides played a big part in how special the whole day felt.

Enjoy the high tea here, the scenery is also wonderful, come here to enjoy a leisurely afternoon!

We’ve been to Gunners Barrack for high tea many times now and it never disappoints. This time it was no different. The food here is very wholesome. We started off with their sandwiches. Their simple egg sandwich is always a hit for us. Today they also offered beef, and also chicken with corn. They are exceptional combinations. We ended up asking for more sandwiches because they were so delicious. We moved onto the scones and other savouries. The scones have a lovely crust and pillowy soft inside. Their savoury bites are also nice but i have forgotten what they are. Finally the sweets. Two notable mentions were their macrons (not overly sweet and it is fragrant!) and the choux pastry (the green one in the photo) is exceptional. Service wise today they seemed a bit short staffed possibly due to the holidays. They are still very nice, polite and helpful. We will be back again soon.

What a perfect day for my mothers Celebration of Life thanks to Hayley! With very short notice she pulled together a very special gathering, food was delicious and enough for everyone, drinks flowed and venue was beautiful. A special mention to Bella as she ensured all guests were well looked after throughout the day.

I did a live wedding painting here that was originally meant to be on the lawn but was moved to the courtyard due to the rain. Despite the weather, it was an incredibly beautiful spot and we were well taken care of by Sam the coordinator. She was very well organised and kind, and it was the first time a coordinator sent me the floor plans and run sheet for the day. I had a lot of space to set up and move around when needed.

We had our wedding here and it was perfect! Kelly was our event manager on the day and she was fantastic to work with. I would highly recommend this place!
