Groom and Style Barber Shop

I am recently new to Sydney and attended the shop on a few occasions so far. John has been my barber in the shop each time and I feel he listens to what I want done to my hair and executes a great cut each time. As well as this I have found him to be very chatty and interested in how I’ve been getting on since I landed in Sydney and as someone new to the country this leaves me feeling great each time. Consistently get great haircuts (+ skin fades) here - easily the best barbershop in Sydney. All their staff are well qualified and provide great service. Booking system is easy to use. The place looks great after their recent refurbishment.

Got a completely different cut to what I asked for, I booked an appointment for scissor cut, showed the barber a reference photo, he ended up cutting my hair too short and only used trimmer and basically ruined my look. I had a good experience once and decided to come again. I guess you might have to get lucky with the right barber who cares about the customer's hair.

These legends saved my hair after a different barbershop ruined it. Have been going religiously ever since and I always get compliments on my sharp cut after a visit. Book on their website for priority service, but they do take walk-ins.

Told the barber specifically what I wanted done. He done the complete opposite and left my head looking like a rugby ball. Then decides to charge me $65 when I usually get the haircut I “asked” for for $45 up the road.

These guys are outstanding! Great energy from all the boys and cool and relaxed vibe in the salon. Chris gives me a skin fade and does my beard every week (has done for over a year now) and has never done anything short of 10/10. Highly recommend Chris if you’re looking for a great fade and clean beard

If you're looking for a consistent great hair cut and/or having your beard spruced up, making you feel and look like the best version of yourself. Groom and Style Barber Shop is your place. Nice atmosphere and friendly barbers. 100% recommend

The only barber I can actually relax and know I will get the haircut I asked for. When I ask their opinion on a style, they are honest and their recommendation is always right.
Of course they are experts in modern styles but they excel at classic cuts, like my own combover.

This shop could do with a proper manager, you can book an appointment but they are seldom on time and it seems to just work as the order you get your turn as you don’t necessarily get the barber you book with either. The haircut quality varies and as the selection of barber when you make the appointment doesn’t really mean anything then it is pot luck as to whether you get one of the more experienced barbers or junior ones even though the price is the same regardless at $45.
In my opinion this barbershop is more like a $20 wait your turn type of place rather than a $45 appointment type of place.

Really nice Brothers who run nice barber shop. I have enjoyed their service for about a year now and I haven’t gone anywhere else. They are popular and I advise booking prior to attending, although they are kind enough to accept walk ins. Again, highly recommended.

Chris did an amazing job. My previous barber messed up my hair, but with a little bit of description, Chris instantly knew what hair style I wanted, and executed it perfectly. The hair product he suggested is also spot on! Great job Chris! Highly recommend.

Incredible attention to detail. These guys have such passion and love. I have never had my hair cut with such deliberation. Steve did a phenomenal skin fade for me. Music and overall vibe was also great. Looks like ive found my new barber!
