Griffith Regional Aquatic Leisure Centre reviews
20A good place for a swim. Lots of different pools - for laps, lessons and play. A great cooling down option for a hot day. You can even purchase snacks and drinks here at the shop sometimes. There are also refreshments available from the front counter.
The staff at Griffith swimming pool
are friendly and helpful. The faculties are great, including spa to relax. I would give 5 stars if it weren’t for the fact that getting access to a swimming lane is difficult some mornings but needn’t be: I have a tight morning schedule and need to fit in a 2km swim starting at 6: 30am before getting to work. Three men walking together gas bagging occupying three swimming lanes is just a little inconsiderate, especially for a woman wanting to have a swim without confrontation, when all other swimming lanes are occupied by swimmers. This happens not infrequently in the morning and the life guard should politely advise these “gentlemen” to do their walking & gas bagging in the non swimming lane. I have no issue when there are empty/available swimming lanes.
Has almost everything for swimming, indoor and outdoor, I'm thoroughly enjoying this place, except for the gym, too much hard work on my muscle's lol
Lovely and clean, havent been in a pool since 2004 due to health reasons and finally in 2023 ive the inspiration to go into a pool again.
Love the gym classes here. Suit my schedule, and a nice variety of classes. The instructors are wonderful, and the class sizes are just right. I love it here. Also, love going to a gym with windows that look out onto grass and pool rather than carpark and road like so many others.
Covered so good for those who are avoiding the sun during summer and cold during winter.nice and corteous staff, have a small canteen for hot meals great outdoor place with 2 electric bbq outdoor, a small hot jacuzzi for 4 people, nice indoor kids pool.

We were passing through Griffith and needed to use the showers at the aquatic centre. We paid a nominal entry fee. There was one private cubicle and the others were communal showers. I think they must be water saving showers - you push the shower mixer and the water lasts about 6 seconds so you need to continuously press the mixer.
Having said that, the water was hot and the bathrooms very clean. Staff were very helpful.
Very welcoming, clean and professional. A great selection of classes and equipment. A full-time cafe would be good.
3 indoor pools to choose from. The kids swimming lessons are excellent and my youngest has advanced in leaps and bounds
Reasonable facilities given the age of the place.new outdoor pool coming soon will be a big plus.
Although the pool facilities are not amazing, it's a decent-sized pool and more often than not you can get a lane to yourself on an evening. Also the 3-month pass was an absolute bargain!
Lovely pools can’t ask for more, did watch a few trainers as I checked the website to see qualifications, the trainer who had MASTER PT and a plethora of certificates again struggled to simply train clients correctly.
Because you have Cwrtificates does not make you a master trainer that right is earned by the way you carry your message across
Good place to take families and to wash away stress, also has a great variety of facilities, its definitely a place to go
Its a g reat place to go for exerice and water arobics and the prices are also good.
I wish there was an outside pool so we have options, a pool with sun just goes hand in hand.cmon council cough up the $. Hundreds new members will enjoy it.
Lovely staff. Facilities may be getting a bit worn. Winter timetable of classes leaves a lot to be desired. Okay if you're retired or gung ho but gentle exercise classes outside of working hours are a low priority.
Great learn to swim program & that you can swim all year round. Cleanliness of changing rooms & high chlorine levels in water are my only issues.
A Great place that could be fantastic if only it had with a healthy Cafe and offer massage spa servives.
Great pool, wish it was a 50m pool though, bad point is the canteen is never open when i go there
