Grenfell Visitor Information Centre reviews
11We called in to ask advice about roads because of the flooding. The receptionist went to such lengths to find out about road closures. She was so helpful. The art gallery is in the same space. The assistant there was also very helpful and the exhibition looked very interesting. Don't miss calling in.
Very helpful service for a fantastic country town, one not to be missed if your passing this way.
Easy access within the town and must say when using the bathroom amenities, they are exceptionally clean and well stocked.
Plenty of local and regional information, combined with an art gallery.
Friendly helpful staff good clean toilets.
Very helpful and easy to find. Needs more local tourist information. Information held in other places neds to be replaced on a regular basis. A brochure for Iandra Castle was advertising open days. Apparently this was quite out of date but as there was no year on it no one would know. Other brochures were not dated by the year also.
The information provided was extremely helpful. The pride and knowledge of people in the local community is very inspiring. We have planned a day trip locally and then to venture out further to visit numerous recommended places.
Needed help getting out of floods and detours where flooded, they help find a route out that would not be affected by flooding
One of the most informative and friendly centers I have visited A must see is the beautiful town quilt displayed in the gallery A very informative main Street walk and also tributes to Henry Lawson. Well done Grenfell
We just wanted to say thank you for the wonderful hospitality when we were visiting Grenfell and the Weddin Mountains National Park a couple of weeks ago.
The town had such a welcoming feel and every local greeted us with a smile. The two ladies looking after the Information Centre and gallery were wonderful and couldn’t have been more helpful. The people of Grenfell should be very proud of what they’ve achieved.
We saw a lot on our week there, but there is still so much we’d like to see and do. We’ll definitely be back.
Before travelling to Grenfell I contacted the visitor information centre. Very helpful and friendly. I received information on local attractions, accommodation and up coming events over the phone and also via an email. When travelling in the area I recommend making contact to get the best of what is on offer in the Grenfell region.
