15We attended the Friends of the University Book sale and it was very well organised and attended.
Attended the Open Day at UON here, and it was incredible. The Great Hall is a fantastic space to host large events or gatherings.
It’s a great hall. We had our Indian Independence Day cultural function there. The stage is big.
The acoustics could be better.
Amazing area, would love to see a show or attend a function here. Visit I undertook was for STEM experience for school students

Glorious, went to my sons graduation and even had a massive screen for those who xouldnt see the full stage.

For people to receive their degrees
Part of Newcastle Uni Campus. Had the privilege of attending my daughter's Graduation. It is a beautiful hall. Acoustics were great. Seating was comfortable. Amenities immaculate. Congratulations to the Uni for putting on a great day. Oh, the aircon was a blessing, it was very humid outside.
Simply a Great Hall. Kinda vintage looking, but adds to its charm.
In summer or warmer weather, please always have a mosquitoes repellant handy, otherwise you'd be eaten alive, especially outdoors.
With every brick being a donation it is an incredible testament to what can happen when a community band together. She sheer number of people who have graduated and moved on to do amazing things in the world shows what true Aussie spirit and great teaching can accomplish
Great view from wherever you sat. Acoustics & big screens excellent. Crying room also very discreet & helpful.
Awesome graduation hall amd function centre. Note the amazing weaving by the Beastons on the wall.
Big empty and cold. If you're having an exam take a jumper and be prepared for the invigilators to talk loudly for the duration.
Very functional. Screens in the foyer can display the presentations for those outside and there is a sound proof crying room up the back.
Great Great Hall! Excellent for large events. Huge stage. Reliable sound system. Plenty of seating available including stadium seating towards the back. If you're running a large event here, be aware there are very few power outlets.
