Grandpa's Shed reviews
21 Visited this place before and after COVID-19. The owner remembered me. Why?
There was a collection of pre-1966 pennies. We sorted all his pennies into year of manufacture. Bought the interesting years we wanted. Left the piles of sorted pennies.
Upon our return, the owner said, "The next day, a SYDNEY block just mixed them all up. "
Can you spare me a dime, partner? We got the pennies.
Grandpa's Shed was amazing, lots and lots of antique and vintage tools, items and clothing too, I've bought three things there now, two being gas masks (MC-1 and GP-5) and one being an ammo crate. Everyone is complaining about the prices being high but honestly, they're not too bad. Definitely would visit again and again.
It's my favourite spot to go to on the way into Kangaroo Valley. A great, well stocked antique and curios shop.
This store is chock-a-block with so many old and interesting things. There was so much stuff I wanted to buy. Definitely worth a visit. I will definitely be going back soon!
A must to visit in the southern highlands. Duncan the owner, is knowledge on the items of which are good value. Picked up some great gifts for the family.
Soooo much stuff in here
You can always find a odd bit of history for purchase. Like stepping back in time
Lots of old and unusual things very cluttered if your fat like me there's some tight squeezes getting around the place but we'll worth the visit.
WOW! This antique / curios store was the best I’ve ever been in! It was large, well organised & very clean. Friendly management who welcomed our dog - we browsed for hours & went back a 2nd time.
Extensive range of antiques and old wares. All well presented, great prices
Something for everybody.
Truly worth a stroll, will be amazed
This your typical old school antique shop. Has everything and anything you could think of. Was built in 1997 by Grandpa and he certainly has added a lot to his collection and really knows his stuff and what it’s worth. If you’re looking for a silver spoon, rustic sign, axe, cut crystal glassware or an old coke bottle - grandpa has it all.
WOW! It's got crystal to tools and everything in between.
Expect to spend about an hour here. Fabulous and worth the drive.
This is our second stop here at Grandpa’s shed. Great way to spend a few hours on a cold Saturday afternoon. So much to see from cutlery, bottle, coins, musical instruments, light, cooking pots, comics and so much more. Pop in and spend a few hours and find a bargain.
A treasure trove, so much stuff to look at but nothing to buy as the prices are ridiculously high!
Grandpa’s Shed is an endless shop of treasures. This is not your granddad’s shed, it’s a huge space filled with everything you can possibly think of and so much more. There is furniture, there are cutlery sets, dinner sets, vinyl, vintage signs, toys, lighting fixtures - literally everything. Prepare to spend some time here abs it’s a great stop off when visiting the southern highlands and Fitzroy Falls.
This is a great antique, junk, op shop, lot's of everything and just down the road from Fitzroy Falls. A good stop on a day trip to the Southern Highlands and Kangaroo valley.
Great little place with knick knax from all different era's, very lovely lady working there too
From a time gone by and full of time gone by items at the top of a mountain pass in the middle of nowhere.
Great antiques shop - plenty to see and a little bit chaotic which is half the fun. The owner is super friendly and helpful as well
Well worth a look, has some amazing old tools and other stuff, put aside a couple of hours. Plus great pies and coffee next door
Antiques store! The first one I’ve visited. It was actually quite big and had a huge range of all these different things. Some were older than others and the condition of the things varied. There was a certain charm that this store had, and even the more weathered objects seemed to have a story behind them. The store was a tiny bit difficult to walk through, simply because there were so many different things to look at.
