Gracie Jiu-Jitsu

Absolutely amazing class. Our son is 4 and struggles in day care with taking turns etc. From the get go, he's listened and followed instructions with the instructors. When he has tried to get his own way, they've been firm with him, and he's got back into what he should be doing. He absolutely loves the class and can't wait to go. We like that he's in a separate room, but we can watch on the screen, as think that takes away pressure from him to perform and us to intervene. If thinking about it, take the trial, we signed up immediately after!

Jiu jitsu can be intimidating, normally we tend to dread the moment we step into a BJJ academy. Once you visit Gracie Sydney and meet their friendly staff, you will regret haven't started earlier. A place where everyone is welcoming, professors, coaches and training partners will make you feel at home, that you belong there.

I was just visiting from the UK and got in contact with them via Instagram. They were all so hospitable and welcoming. The classes them selves were awesome. I am so happy to have been able to train here in the short time I had in Aus.

My 8 year old son absolutely loves attending Gracie. He would attend every day if we could! The staff are so friendly & excellent teachers. I highly recommend BJJ for all kids to learn patience, discipline & self defense as well as exercise. My 6 year old daughter would love to start & I'm sure my 4 year old daughter will want to join too. I have 2 friend's kids that also attend Gracie & they can't speak highly enough of them. 5 stars from us!

Travelling all the way from Ireland, was no easy task but walking into the gym you are always greeted with smiles and hellos from the staff and made feel at home. The coaches go above and beyond to offer you the tools for you to start your BJJ journey both on and off the mats. From foundation level to All level classes everyone is there to offer advice and help, including higher belts. You won’t find another place like it. It’s a long journey but when you’re having fun it’s more than half the battle. Muito Obrigado OSS

Starting BJJ at 41 was quite daunting but Gracie Sydney has made it a fun ride so far. Everyone from the coaches to other students have all been lovely and supportive. It’s not just a gym, it’s a community of cool and fun people. Anne, Elisa, Felipe, Antonio and Domenico are all phenomenal coaches and have made me feel very welcomed from day 1. Would highly recommend Gracie Sydney if you want to improve your fitness, make some new friends and/or simply have some fun:)

Just incredible. Every time I step on the mats I know I'm safe, gonna have a great time with kind people, learn new skills and grow as a person. I am 100% sure you'll feel the same way after your first visit.

This is a fantastic and supportive gym by kind but tough teachers who pay attention to you and ensure you improve your skills from nothing to being able apply it within less than a month. It's an exhausting sport but very rewarding. I personally will be glad to have spent my time here and actually don't have anything at all to suggest as improvements.

My kids have been training at Gracie Alexandria for the past year. It has been such an amazing experience watching them improve and grow into more confident and disciplined individuals. The coaches are outstanding and never fail to amaze me with the care and pride they exhibit in their work.

A very professional gym with lovely staff, everyone made me feel very welcome when I joined. The coaches are very knowledgeable and are great at explaining moves in different ways. Definitely recommend coming in for a trial class

Started with a trial and ended up loving the sport. Wonderful place and people to start your Jiujitsu journey.

My kid loves the coaching staff and can not wait for the lockdown to end. As a parent I also think the staff are very friendly and professional at the same time. We moved out of the area however my son insists to keep attending Gracie Sydney JJ because of the built relationships with both the coaches and students.

World class instructors who are very approachable and knowledgeable, great facilities and incredible timetable. There’s always a class time available no matter the day!
