Grace Loves Lace - Sydney Showroom reviews
48 First place I went to on my dress shopping journey, only tried on 3 dresses, didn’t like any of the dresses as they just weren’t my style, but the place was stunning, very clean, super private experience.the lady I had was so kind and caring and very understanding.
Would definitely recommend for any boho brides out there looking for some lovely customer service.
Even though I didn’t find my wedding dress here I have to take a moment to say how wonderful the experience was.
My appointment with Madison was one of the nicest experiences I’ve had by far. She made it feel like such a wonderful moment and appreciated how lovely she was the whole time. Thank you so much!
Had a wonderful experience dress shopping at Grace Loves Lace Alexandria. I had no idea what I was looking for and Loretta was very helpful and patient, listening to my preferences and suggesting dresses that would suit best. I definitely came out with a favourite. The store is beautiful and has a nice relaxed vibe. Big thank you to Loretta for such a pleasant afternoon.
I could not recommend this store more. It was my first bridal appointment ever and I was lucky enough to have Loretta around to help me with everything and she is absolutely amazing.
1 star for a beautiful shop. Everything else however left me so disheartened I questioned if I could even be a bride. The fabrics and cuts on some of these dresses looked cheap, unflattering and felt heavy on me. They were also void of structure and support. The attended although lovely did not seem to have enough knowledge base to assist in any meaningful way. I hope this review may give solace to anyone else who has long admired the brand but was saddened by their experience.
I had such a lovely weekend trying on wedding dresses with my mum (who flew in from interstate) and 2 of my bridesmaids (one of which also flew in from interstate).
We thought our experiences at other wedding dress shops were special, but oh my goodness nothing compared to the grace loves lace showroom. It feels so spectacular but I did not feel out of place. The champagne on arrival was such a main character moment.
Anastacia was so lovely and encouraging and so understanding that it's important to find the right dress for *me* not just any dress.
The quality of these dresses and the feel of them on is next level. They are the only dresses that are fitted that I felt comfortable in. There is magic woven into these dresses, they feel like Pyjamas they are so comfy.
I went to grace loves lace as a pipe dream just wanting to sticky beak, the experience did not disappoint. I came away so impressed and with some big decisions to make.
Thanks grace loves lace for such a wonderful experience, it was like a dream. Xx
After a few bad experiences in the Wollongong area, Maddie made me feel so comfortable at my appointment. She showed interest and emotion when I tried the gowns on and was extremely helpful throughout the whole process. From trying gowns on to making my purchase a couple of weeks later was easy and something she helped me feel confident about. The show room is absolutely amazing and made me feel as special as I should. Thanks guys and I am so looking forward to getting my gown in the coming months
We attended the recent sample sale and all the staff were so lovely! The process ran smoothly and it appeared very organised. All the staff were helpful and made it a great experience for my first time trying on dresses. I was lucky enough to find a dress at an exceptional price. The showroom is also beautiful! Even though I found my dress, I’ve been tempted to book a 1: 1 appointment to get the whole experience and try the dress with accessories as the staff were so great! Highly recommend!
Went with 3 of my close girlfriends to grace loves lace yesterday. We had Rhiannon as my stylist and she was amazing. It was my first time wedding dress shopping and she made the experience unique, accomodating and had amazing customer service.
I would recommend this store to everyone and especially Rhiannon!
I worked many years in bridal doing the same job as these ladies and it is one of the hardest jobs dealing with brides and the emotions plus family and sometimes overbearing friends but these ladies were amazing. The manager is really the backbone and nothing was too great for her. I highly recommend them to any future brides.
We have always found free street parking around the corner.
No steps to go into the shop so is great for wheelchairs and prams but seriously better to leave the kids at home no bridal stores are really children friendly because of the beautiful dresses and mannequins that can be knocked over.
A wonderful experience at a Bridesmaid appointment with our gorgeous Stylish Alivia. She really went above + beyond to assist me as I had all four of my bridesmaids on FaceTime (we live in different states). Thanks again Alivia, we really appreciate it + let’s hope these dresses become available? Absolutely stunning!
My experience at Grace Loves Lace was absolutely amazing! My stylist, Jasmine, was super lovely and helpful! I am so happy that I have found my dream dress! All of the dresses are so stunning and comfortable! I am so excited to wear my dress and am so grateful for the help I received in making such a huge decision!
An amazing experience for our first bridal shop! The clothing was so comfortable and the service was amazing! Thank you so much for all your help xo
Hi, I shot a wedding photoshoot with a few stunning dresses from Grace loves lace! My brand is Candid chaser photography.
I'm so happy with how these images turned out I have attached some of the shots I took:)
I have personally visited the store and the customer service is incredible as well!
Had such a great experience at the Sydney GLL showroom! Anastasia was incredibly lovely, and took all of my preferences and personality into her dress suggestions. Would recommend!
Thank you to Rhi and Anastasia for making dress shopping an exciting, fun and memorable experience! I was so nervous, but their kindness, enthusiasm and caring attitude made all the difference. I’m thrilled that I found my wedding dress thanks to you - can’t wait for the big day ️
I really enjoyed my appointment here! Anastasia was thoughtful and even let my maid of honour try on the bridesmaid dresses! I loved every gown I stepped into and will be back for a second visit to see if I can find the one!
**BRIDES BEWARE**
Don’t fall for the ‘hype’ on insta.
What a horrible experience, very disappointed after having loved this brand for so long.
The initial showroom experience was wonderful and made me feel quite special and looked after.
Unfortunately from there it only went downhill.
First red flag
I ordered and paid for my dress and they had instructed me that I needed to take my own measurements as they don’t do this for you. This is not okay. The clients aren’t seamstresses and it’s quite difficult to do it on your own. I had never heard of this before and think it’s completely unacceptable. I took my own measurements three times to make sure I had it right.
Second red flag
They don’t do in store pick up so I had to send it to my work because living in an apartment in Sydney, people stealing packages is common and I obviously wouldn’t take this risk.
Third and biggest red flag
They don’t do final fittings which is not acceptable when spending $3k on a dress. You should want to ensure your clients are happy with the gown and it fits. This was surprising as all other companies do this. Once I tried my dress on, I understood why they don’t do a fitting.
I tried on my dress and it was completely wrong. It didn’t fit me whatsoever, I even checked to ensure it was my dress because it was not my measurements. I could fit my entire arm down the side of the dress and it was gaping at the front so you could see down my dress. I was devastated. I contacted GLL and they told me there was nothing they would do and told me to contact a seamstress which I will need to pay for.
Clearly they don’t care about their brides and once they have their money you’re treated entirely differently. It became very transactional. No customer service whatsoever they just fob you off as they already have your $$$.
So I’m stuck with a $3k dress that doesn’t fit and after how I was treated I refuse to wear a GLL dress on my big day. I have had to purchase another dress from Brides of Beecroft who take your measurements, do final fittings, store your dress for pick up and have a wider range of more affordable dresses. What a difference and I’m so glad that once again I feel excited about my wedding instead of devastated and stressed.
Myself and my two bridesmaids had the best time at GLL in Alexandria! Not only was the showroom beautiful, the stylist Hetta was so helpful and made me feel so comfortable, and was great at helping me get the dresses on and off
I may not have found “the dress” but I am still so glad we went as it was such a special and fun experience! Thank you!
I had such a fun time here locking in my perfect dress. I saw both Kirah and Hetta and both were amazing. I had such a fun time with Hetta, she was so helpful, particularly through my indecisiveness! Dress shopping can be daunting after having had babies but the girls made me feel so comfortable. 10/10 would recommend.
