Gourmet Drover's reviews
7I think there off droving because twice now, sat 11/11 & 18/11 I went looking for them @ 105 Rous St. Not open Not there! No ph to ring. No yellow food van.
This would have to be the BEST food I’ve had for home catering. Alllll the options were incredibly tasty. Most people around me were also going back for seconds *cough* thirds. Not to mention the best potato salad I’ve had…ever. Fantastic service and I’m confident great value per head also. Leftovers to boot. Thanks gang!
This is what tenterfield has been missing! A solid meal any way you choose to order, been a long time since I’ve enjoyed food on this level. Every bite was perfection! Every flavour paired perfectly with the next. Not to mention being greeted by a beautiful smile and a friendly person. Great service.
Yummy smoked lamb dinner with lots of sides. Definitely a great well priced feed.
The best smoked meats and huge serves. You must try! Value for money too.
Gourmet Drover's is where you go when you want a fresh, delicious meal based around bbq, smoked meats, salads and homemade condiments, along with burritos and burgers. Bec, the owner, does brisket, pulled pork, smoked chicken and weekly specials (check the facebook page for this week's treat). She also makes all her own pickles, salsas and sauces.
Bec sources her ingredients directly from the local abattoirs, and her salad and vegetables mainly from Sue's Fruit and Veg (another place worth a visit if you like good food). She preferences local and organic produce and it shows in the finished meal: no limp lettuce, watery tomatoes or weak sauces here.
In short, this is the place to pull over when you want a healthy, tasty meal instead of the usual roadside junk (and for not much more money than the junk, either). You could eat here every day and your tastebuds and waistline would still thank you. It deserves the 'gourmet' in the name.
