Goshukan Karate Academy

My son absolutely loves coming to the Karate academy. Instructors are very professional and attentive. Highly recommend it to anyone.

I like how the teachers teach the students and how to do all types of karate skills. They are very nice with kids and explain how the skills are useful.

My very bouncy and active son started at age of 6 with Emily at Goshukan. Since then we have seen a real improvement on his ability to concentrate and follow their instruction during the class. Both sensei Emily and Shihan are great with these kids! Highly recommend the dojo for self discipline, confidence and their sense of achievement.

An excellent place to commence your Karate journey. Outstanding Karate expertise, focus, professionalism and respect for people are a few attributes the trainers (Shihan and Senseis) at GKA excel at. Really enjoying training with them and learning a lot in each class. Look forward to keep growing under their guidance and teaching, and progressing with one step at a time.

My son has settled right down at school. We have gone from having detention for recess and lunch multiple times through the term to it being a distant memory. The only thing that has changed has been getting him involved in karate. An added bonus is that he loves being involved

This is the best karate Center by far! Kids come from very far to enthusiasticly join and follow the instructions of sensei Emily and Shihan. You can tell the parents enjoy it as well as most of out down our phones and are entertained by the class

Actually one of the best karate places in Sydney. Amazing approach, especially to shy children wanting confidence and to learn self defence. I have done the trial and I am so glad I found this place.

A few question the validity of Goshukan's marketing term "Next Level Karate". And until you join or give Stacey Shihan's classes a go that you begin to develop respect for the use of the term and its authenticity. I am honoured to be a Goshukan karate pracitioner and encourage those who would like to see their karate elevate to the next level to give the club a go.

I'm obviously in the wrong country, but have trained with Stacey karetsian on numerous occasions. The best instructor I have ever had the pleasure to train under. Amazing amount of knowledge of his sport and a very open person. Just wish he was back in the UK! I wish him all the luck in the world for goshukan karate.

I recently joined Goshukan Karate Academy after taking a break from martial arts due to illness. Firstly I wanted to say how wonderful it is to train in a club run by Shihan Stacey, who's training I had been fortunate enough to learn from in the past. I now travel over an hour to train at the Morayfield Dojo whenever my health permits. After being diagnosed with Fibromyalgia earlier this year, I am struggling to adapt to my body's new limitations, but Shihan Stacey, Sensei Wendy & all of my friends at Goshukan have been extremely supportive & accommodating. I feel very humbled & grateful to be a part of Goshukan Karate Academy & to be learning from some of the best karate instructors I know. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

The guys/gals here at goshukan Liverpool are amazing. My son has changed since going there. He is way more focused and alot more confident. He enjoys going to karate every saturday. They are so patient with the young kids. They help him to achieve their best. Highly recommend Stacey and Emily to teach your kids.

What a great karate club! I have been training at Goshukan since it started. Its a fun family environment for kids and adults. Plenty of classes to choose from with dedicated classes for the little ones through to advanced level students. Its amazing seeing all the students progress and gain confidence each week. Give it a go im sure you will love it as much as we all do!

This is definitely the place to be and I can not recommend Goshukan Karate Academy enough. For both kids and adults, with so many classes to choose from and a focus on building confidence, discipline, fitness and self defence.
It's a fantastic club and a great fun environment to train in. Everyone is so friendly and really welcoming.

If you are thinking of taking up martial arts, or interested in changing to a new club, then this is the one. I would give a rating of ten stars if possible. Incredible teaching / philosophy. Fantastic for all ages, kids and adults alike. I’ve done karate for over 20 years and Shihan Stacey is the BEST of the best. Whoever gets to train with this karateka is fortunate indeed. Join this club, you will not be disappointed.
