Gosford Showground

I was very disappointed with the chicken and chirizo paella. I looked lovely but there was no taste. I was extremely disappointed. I am still looking for a decently cooked paella

Went to the farmers market, very disappointing, very few stalls and those that were there were disappointing. Why are we in Aus so poor at markets? We just don’t seem to be able to set up a good looking market stall - compare that to a French market where all the stands are beautifully presented with a huge variety

Awesome night markets with food stalls, retail stalls and rides for the lil ones. Fabulous night out!

Went for food festival which had great variety but a little cold so had to rug up.
Plenty of room.

We're only ever there when the Night Markets are on and it's a really good venue for it.

Greatest place to get your greyhound fix or maybe trotters are your thing this os where you go

Night market has become a huge scam.all the food is substandard and over priced.strawberries were nice though

Fun night markets. Good crowd and good selections of food. Stalls selling the usual market products.

This showground is a must to visit. It is next to the train station ehich makes it easy for commuters to reach it

A great showground for greyhounds on wed. Fairs and other events are frequent occuring - watch local publicity.

Nice place. Lots of room. We love the Monster Truck show! Tidy with good amenities and great staff

We went for a regional show, which was advertised aa having animals and rides etc.

Mostly it was a market - with lots of stalls and even more seriously overpriced food.

There were 2 rides and ponies.

Also a lot of vendors were cash only, which for us was a blessing in disguise.

Whilst kids enjoyed themselves i wish there were more animals displays and less stalls.

Oh well.

Gosford Showground is just that, a showground. However, it provides a great venue for other events other than the annual show, especially the wonderful farmers' market on Sundays. Although I score the showground itself 3, I score the markets 4.5 stars! They just keep getting better.

Great markets, especially the organic fruit and vegetable stand run by that bloke and his three kids

Campground is spacious, with plentiful and clean toilets. There are 2 male and 2 female showers, but they are a bit of a walk from the camping area and could do with an upgrade. It's dog friendly, though you need to keep in mind that it is a greyhound track and to keep your dogs close when the greyhounds are around. Race meets are Tues evenings and there are time trials Wed evenings. There is no camping available between 5pm Sat and 2pm Sun due to the Farmers Markets. The farmers markets are definitely worth a visit, with lots of fresh fruit and veg, meat, baked goods and coffee on offer:)
At $25 per night it is good value and a fantastic central location to explore the Central Coast. Check out Lil' Bean nearby for the best coffee locally

Great for an over night stay cheap powered site clean amenities and facilities close to the shops.

Great Sunday markets, good selection of goods, fresh fruit asnd vegetables, honey, bees wax covers, gourmet olives, pies, breads, gourmet dressings, pickles, sauces, well worth a visit

Went to a 2 day Show. Neither day did the women's toilets have loo paper supplied or soap for hand washing.
Grounds were tidy and ample parking

Love this place. They have markets & vehicle events here. Wish they had even more events & advertise better when they do.
