Gosford/Edogawa Commemorative Garden reviews
65Beautiful place to visit. I visited there to meet a friend for Brunch, food was good and we had a good time. Garden is beautiful and we also had a look at some of beautiful paintings. Should visit atleast once.
Tranquil little gem in Gosford. Cafe and souvenir also art gallery are inside. Good for relaxing your mind and soul just looking for koi fish pond with Japanese style garden.
I would recommend this Japanese garden as it is very picturesque and peaceful. It is well maintained and a great place to walk.
From the gallery to the gardens far exceeded my expectations. Will be going again in another season of flowers. I recommend Edogawa gardens to all locals who haven't yet made the effort.
Gardens are lovely, but give the cafe a very wide berth! Chaotic service due to lack of trained staff, food ok but waited over 30 minutes for the food to arrive, had also ordered a glass of wine and a beer which finally arrived after we had almost finished our meals… won’t be coming back
Pick up a two buck bag of fish food at the shop in Gosford Regional Gallery and head to the Koi Pavilion in the Edowaga Japanese Garden. Rustle the paper bag and watch the ducks and koi stream in. Empty the whole bag into the water and watch the writhing mass of kicking legs and fins. It’s not in keeping with the manicured and relaxing vibe of the garden, but it is funny.
It's one of the best places to visit especially with kids, beautiful garden and gallery
These gardens are beautiful! Smaller than I expected but between the ducks, the koi fish and the flowers, there is enough to keep you entertained for around an hour. Very well maintained and a relaxing atmosphere. I suggest bringing a blanket if you want to sit on the grass.
Beautiful oasis. Restaurant has great ambience but needs to improve service and food quality.
Beautiful garden and nice art display in the gallery. Warm and welcoming place to visit. Relaxing and nice stroll through the garden.
The art exhibition was just amazing. 11th and 12th graders art work. The other exhibit was closed for now. The garden is a little smaller than expected but very peaceful and relaxing. So many coils and ducks in the pond.
Excellent place to take the kids. You can feed koi fish, entry is free and you just have to buy a bag of fish food at the gift shop. There is also a playground next to the garden. A great way to tire out the kids in the morning.
Had lunch at the Cafe and a walk around the gardens. Fed the fish and ducklings. Had a great time
Very lovely little garden in East Gosford near lake. The garden is well maintained and has a relaxing aura making a great place to come and relax or have a lunch picnic on the lawn. There is a pebble garden, a small water fall, various water features, a Japanese pavilion with view on the many Koi carps.
You can also visit the art gallery and souvenir shop and have a little break at the cafe.
Great place to take my little grandson. He particularly over feeding the koi/ducks and would stay all day just watching them.
Nice small Japanese garden can feed the ducks and koi fish free entry, art gallery in progress also currently. Overall nice small garden.
Beautiful Japanese garden, cafe, and art gallery. Great place to visit. Feed the ducks and koi fish, they have pellet packets for $2 on-site.
Beautiful gardens, an absolute must-visit location for anyone passing through the Central Coast who needs a place of contemplation and inspiration.
A really tiny Japanese style garden. Compact dimensions but good stopover point if in Gosford area
