Horrible experience got offered in there they didn’t do anything but I offered one person I’m the worst person in the world doctors and groups are terrible

Great place! The reception are super friendly and very helpful, definitely recommend. Dr Wankede is awesome and super understanding and helpful.

I have been a patient of this clinic under Dr Weerakkody in the past. I am shocked to see some of these reviews but in my case this doctor was kind, considerate, and professional. He managed my condition to the best. It's a shame he had left the practice and I was unable to find his new practice so far. Two years since he left I still haven't been able to find a doctor who had been able to treatment to a better point.

DO NOT VISIT THE MALE SPECIALISTS ALONE.
Be careful visiting this clinic, as the psychiatrist, basically only rents a room and works independently.

I visited Paul praiser for ADHD, I had previously been diagnosed and just needed medication again and wanted to learn more about adult adhd in women.

This man was so unhinged and misinformed, his behaviour and mannerisms were so awkward not to mention his outdated and stereo type knowledge. I know quiet a lot about ADHD (obviously) and just wanted to expand my knowledge so and I expressed this, however it seems Paul found some sort of humour in this and instead of holding a educated conversation he decided to comment on how confident I was and “it’s good to see confident women, we need more of them”.
In my appointments I brought people with me, my first appointment made me realise that I did not want to be alone with him.when I brought someone with me to the second appointment as soon as he opened the door to welcome me in he said “why do you always feel the need to bring someone, are you scared to be alone”.
During our appointments this man made me feel so uncomfortable while I had a family member IN THE ROOM with me, I can not imagine what he would have said if I’d of come alone.
Luckily the tool was able to do the bare minimum and prescribe the medication and dose I requested and return me back to my GP thank god.
Because the specialist work independently you are not able to request seeing another with out paying the for the first $500 appointment again.
To put the cherry on top if you search Paul praisers name on the internet some interesting information comes up about him, I could be wrong but it said that he was fined for misconduct in a previous job. Go to hell Paul.

Although I asked about their assessment and testing, they misguided me. Also, Dr. Paul Praser has outdated information about ADHD specifically for women.

Dr. Vladimir Sazhin is an amazing and caring psychiatrist who goes above and beyond for his patients!

I came in for my first consultation today, and I was quite hesitant to come in due to some of the negative reviews. However, the clinic is far from what has been described in my experience (I believe some of the harsh feedback might actually be about the adjoining hospital).

From the moment I walked into Dr. Sazhin's consult room, I felt safe and comfortable. Throughout the session, he was such a great listener and very understanding. He walked me through possible treatment options catered to my situation and always made sure to hear my thoughts. It is so evident that Dr. Sazhin wants the best for his patients, and I'm so thankful to have spoken with him.

The receptionist was also so lovely and courteous - she let me know Dr. Sazhin's clinic days for when I plan to book a follow-up visit.

I'm so grateful to have been referred to see Dr. Sazhin. 100% satisfied with the quality of care that the Gordon Clinic delivers. 5/5, definitely coming back if needed!

HORRIBLE DISGUSTING clinic especially Dr RUWANTHA WEERAKKODY who is one of the most stupid, arrogant, unhelpful and incompetent doctor there is! HE DESERVES TO BE HIT BY A FU*KING CAR given his track record of being a very foolish and ignorant person.

This doctor is a poor listener and talks over you, minimal knowledge in psychiatry and does not believe personality disorders even exist. Did not believe that I had depression when I have a history of low mood and lack of motivation which is very consistent with depression. He could not diagnose me, told me I ‘don’t have a mental illness’ when I was clearly suffering from severe borderline personality disorder and adhd. Refused to prescribe any medication and was very condescending.

He was so bad that I only saw him for three sessions, after finding a better doctor at another clinic who was compassionate about my suffering and prescribed zyprexa which gave me relief, he got angry and challenged me by suggesting the medication is useless and ‘only a placebo’, when it was clearly effective in easing my anger, severe anxiety, psychological distress, and most of the other symptoms of my disorder.

I would strongly advise any dissatisfied patients to submit all complaints about this doctor to the Health Care Complaints Commission (HCCC).

If this clinic cares about its reputation Dr Ruwantha should be fired from the job because he doesn't deserve to work here and traumatize any more patients.

This review concerns that bad excuse of a practitioner Dr Ruwantha Weerakkody. After seeing him, I was just shocked and in complete disbelief. Half an hour late for the appointment. Talking complete nonsense during the session and doesn’t listen to a thing I said. Massive ego doesn’t like to be challenged. Doesn’t even realise how ignorant he really is. He even had the audacity to state that mental illness is nowhere as bad as physical health conditions - maybe you’re better off working in another speciality if you have any trace of empathy left. This practitioner’s medical license should be suspended because he is a awful person!

I can see what people are saying with these negative reviews. From my experience, I rang to book an appointment and was on hold for a while. When they finally answered I was told the specialist isn't taking any new clients and is the only adolescent specialist in their clinic. So no we can't see her and noone here can. The secretarys tone was pretty harsh/abrupt and she didnt make any suggestions as to where we can go from here. I understand theyre probably very busy, but there's no need to be what seemed rude and heartless. Especially given the situation people are in when they reach out for help.

I have been seeing Dr James on and off for quite a few years now. Both the clinic staff and Dr James have always treated me with respect and kindness.
I am so glad I found out about the Gordon Clinic, they really did help and support me through some very tough times.

This company will allow Medicare to lace their pockets with money. I promise you, the admin staff through to specialist Drs will ensure the same is repeated.
You won't receive help.

I ran a physiotherapy practice for 30 years, so I’m used to dealing with the general public. I have had enough of this practice, my experience was that my mechanic cared more for me, and contacted me to see how I was going more than anyone here. My feeling on this practice is they care about you for as long as your credit card can handle, and only while your credit card is valid. I’ve gone back to my GP to manage my bipolar. If that was professional mental health then we’re in serious trouble.

Receptionist's were lovely on the phone, however, I gave it a miss when a Dr James I think it was, would only do Skype calls which i think is bloody lazy, and and to book another i had to do this and do that and then upload a negative RAT test. Like I have nothing better to do. Too hard and too many rules! Going elsewhere

Very frustrating and disappointing experience with Dr Sonia Kumar.

Firstly, after on-boarding her for my Son (we live in the inner west) she failed to inform us that she was relocating to Gordon within weeks. Had we known this we would have gone elsewhere.

I had hoped Dr Kumar would be my son’s Adult ADHD doctor however after the initial consultation she let him down badly by failing to facilitate access to medications. We had to resort back to his paediatric Dr. When I tried to raise this issue with her, she was non-responsive until I informed her that I felt it was my duty to advise future patients of her conduct. I then received an email that was dismissive and showed zero concern, compassion or care for my son.

I got the feeling she took the money and ran!

I've seen two Drs here, Dr James and Dr Bennett. They have both been wonderful and very helpful and caring towards me and my health. The best Drs in this field that I have ever had the pleasure of seeing. I highly recommend this practice. The receptionests are always accommodating and kind.

I can’t believe this is a mental health service! WOW! Just WOW! I get better customer service at McDonald’s drive through. Was part of the criteria for being a receptionist here to be cold hearted and rude and have good skills hanging up on people? I have never experienced anything like it anywhere.

Don’t get help here. Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere to get the help you truly deserve.

The Gordon Clinic should be SHUT DOWN for malpractice! If you are reading this and seeking professional psychological and/or psychiatric help for your mental health the best decision you can make right now for your wellbeing is to NOT pick up your phone and call this clinic. I cannot stress this to you and your loved ones enough. Spread the word to everyone you know. How they treat you is disgusting. It is a story worthy of media attention on A Current Affair.

This place makes the sick sicker. The administration staff are the RUDEST, MOST INVALIDATING AND NARCISSISTIC people and the doctors are no better. They misplace important paperwork, have zero care factor for their patients welfare and even fall asleep during your consult.

The clinic is located a stone’s throw from a cemetery. The staff should all go there for an excursion and find their hearts because this is where they are sending people.
