Gooden Reserve reviews
12A very nice park with a lot of food for both regular joggers and sports activities to run at the same time
Ideal place for morning walk, jogging or other exercises away from the buzz and fury of the city. Simple yet elegant neat children's play ground is another attraction.
Plenty of parking spaces. You have 400m running track. Field areas for javalin, hammer throw, shotput and discus. 6 Netball courts and long jump facilities.
Lots of space for lots of sport for lots of families. 2 huge concrete courts (netball hoops) and a massive field (grass)
The track is smaller sized. Inner lane is not 400.however outer lane is 400m.
Long jump pit has cement lines
It's a grass track
There are shot-put, discuss nets by the toilet and javelin nets on the other side of the netball courts
A nice well maintained park for kids of all ages. Visited the small kids section.it has the facility for adults to sit in a shade with bench and chair to eat / picnic while kids play in the play area
It depends on what you go there for. We were with a toddler and he did not find much to do in the small play area. Looks like a good place for sports looking at the facilities or if you want to take a walk. Broken glass all over the court and some leftover food in the park (obviously more down to the users then the park management). Overall it was ok
Great location. Walk to m2 bus stop. Heaps of net ball courts and concrete space for kids to do cycling. Beautiful oval. Surrounded by family friendly homes in a well established suburb.
Nice venue for the kids to play with and meet so many people who are eager taking their kids to play and learning all kinds of sports
It's just a park really. It's got some swings but they're mainly suitable for younger kids. Some covered places to sit and eat, a large drain - so watch the kiddies on that one (but it's a fair way from the playground). There's a full sized oval with some good athletics equipment such as long jump pits and shot put areas but they're covered in signs warning that they're only suitable for use by kids. There's plenty of off-street parking and most of the park is away from Gooden drive which is a little busy at times. There's also a walkway bridge to the M2 buses (and Winston Hills shops) and there's some netball courts and toilets.
As parks go, it's not a great one for swings but it's pretty good when it comes to sports.
One of the largest parks in the district, home to many school and club sporting events, mainly athletics. There is also a popular commuter car park for M2 users however there are gate opening and closing times to consider. There is also pedestrian access over the M2 in order to get to the westbound bus stop and Stockland mall/Winston Hotel.
