I’m a Gong Cha lover.
Been coming here for more than 3 years.
All staff were so friendly and nice even someone can’t speak English fluently but still very good service but today I went there there’s staff’s name Cap (not sure) I don’t know if anyone forced her to do this job cause she seems doesn’t want to work and yep I don’t like her service.:)

Almost end of the day, I went to Gong cha. I wanted to something green tea stuff, but cashsr said no more green tea and woolong tea. So, I ordered pession fruits black tea with no ice, lesson sugar. Then, I got passion fruit green tea with less ice, no sugar.
He doesn't understand what I said or could be he just wanted to go home.

I recently visited Gong Cha in Haymarket, and I must say, it was an excellent experience. Situated conveniently outside Market City, the location was easily accessible, making it a perfect spot for a refreshing beverage.

From the moment I entered, I was greeted by friendly staff members who were not only welcoming but also worked efficiently to serve the customers. Their warm demeanor added to the overall positive atmosphere of the place.

When it came to the drinks, Gong Cha certainly lived up to its reputation. The beverages I ordered were exactly what I expected, with flavors that were well-balanced and refreshing. Whether it was a classic milk tea or a fruity concoction, the quality of the drinks was consistent and satisfying.

Overall, my visit to Gong Cha in Haymarket was excellent. The convenient location, combined with the friendly and efficient staff, made for a pleasant experience. The drinks were delightful, meeting my expectations and leaving me thoroughly satisfied. If you're in the area and looking for a refreshing beverage, I highly recommend stopping by Gong Cha in Haymarket.

Rude service, below average quality.

The counter staff is very arrogant when taking the orders. Please try to learn some manners, learning how to talk to your customer with respect, knowing how to smile before working in the hospitality industry. Change the job, if you hate what you are doing!

The bubble tea is average, lychee Uloong tea you can taste authentic chemicals and artificial material inside. Brown sugar tea was also below the average, the bubbles/black pearls are up to al Dente stage, like the half cooked pasta. As it is has kept too long and form the hard center.

We are blessed that to have many good bubble tea shops to choose from in Sydney. Unfortunately, this brand Gong Cha is not on that list and its the least favorite and definitely not recommended.

In case someone wants to know where: China town store, Saturday night at 18: 45. The management you don't need to apologize or contact, it's my unlucky day that walked into this store.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Gong Cha in Market City, Sydney, and I must commend Auvie for providing an outstanding customer service experience. Her friendly and polite demeanor truly made my visit memorable.

From the moment I walked into the store, Auvie greeted me with a warm smile, instantly making me feel welcomed and valued as a customer. Her genuine enthusiasm for her work was evident as she took the time to explain their menu options and made recommendations based on my preferences.

Auvie's knowledge about the various tea flavors and toppings available at Gong Cha was impressive. She patiently answered all of my questions and even offered suggestions to customize my drink to perfection! Her attention to detail and willingness to accommodate my specific requests showcased her dedication to delivering an exceptional customer experience.

What stood out to me the most was Auvie's ability to maintain a positive and cheerful attitude even during peak hours. Despite the busy environment, she managed to prioritize each customer, ensuring that everyone received prompt and attentive service. Her professionalism and multitasking skills were truly commendable.

Beyond her exceptional service skills, Auvie's friendly nature and engaging personality made me feel like a valued guest. She engaged in genuine conversations, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere within the store. It was evident that she genuinely cared about each customer's experience and went the extra mile to ensure their satisfaction.

In conclusion, I cannot speak highly enough of Auvie's outstanding service at Gong Cha Market City Sydney. Her warm hospitality, extensive knowledge of the menu, and exceptional customer care skills left a lasting impression. I would highly recommend visiting Gong Cha and experiencing Auvie's exemplary service firsthand. She is a true asset to any organisation and a shining example of what exceptional customer service should be like.

The worst customer service among Sydney milk tea shops.
Avoid buying anything from here.
Just read through the reviews. It's definitely not a coincidence that most reviewers (I've counted, more than 75%) are giving 1 star.

The employees in the store suggest that they should be trained in her service attitude first, especially a Chinese girl. She has an extremely bad attitude, speaks loudly, rude and impolite. What is a milk tea shop assistant noble? Never patronize again!

This place happens to be near where I work. I love Gong Cha. I am a regular customer. I buy drinks here at least 3 times / week. Most of the time I buy 2 drinks each time. They knew me very well. They always put sugar in even though you requested: “ No sugar “ all the time. This time I decide to write a comment in here as they added full sugar level in my drink when my order was: No Sugar which I couldn’t take it anymore. I said to them it was okie I would purchase another one then they asked me to wait on the long queue again? I said I was late for work then they agreed to make another one (of course I had to pay for it) … If they can’t offer me another one because of their mistakes they at least make my repurchase order right away rather than asking me to wait on the queue again. Stupid customer service. The owner needs to retrain their staffs. I don’t think the staffs here care about the business at all.

Came here for a little sneaky after dinner drink with a group my friends, predominately ordering green tea orientated variations. After receiving our drinks we had high hopes as we had searched the whole of China town and agreed on this one (keep in mind we aren’t from Sydney and had trouble finding our way around). Although, upon consumption, the tea had an alright first taste, however the after taste contained many tones of acidic and bitterness, almost as though we had stuck a straw in a cup of battery acid. Very unpleasant although toppings were decent and pearls were basically jellied spheres. Not worth the 8 dollars, I recommend Kmart if your looking for batteries

I was waiting in line 24/4/2022 around 8: something and there wasn’t many people around the girl with pink hair said that this person would be the last customer and shooed us away
But after we got out of line my group stood near by just talking on where to go next we saw a few new people show up and was able order

Delicious tea, wide range of different kinds and friendly staff. I would not say that tea taste was really intense. It would be nice to have second drink for free.

I love Taro bubble tea, that's my favorite one. You can also try the Azuki matcha, it's really good as well.

Decent enough bubble tea to sate your tapioca cravings, not the best, not the worst. I can't speak for the other drinks since I've only ordered the premium pearl milk tea, but nothing to complain about here.

Service however could be improved, it's a hit or miss depending on the employee working on the day you go. They're either pretty friendly or don't know any manners at all.

Good Morning,

Being a huge Gong Cha fan everywhere my husband and self go we must purchase gong cha. Our local being canley heights gong cha in which we visit on a weekly sometimes even daily provide fresh yummy tea however last night my husband and I went to the city for dinner and for our desert decide to get gong cha in market city George st. Roughly 11: 25 just before closing we purchased 3 teas one for my husband his cousin and myself. 1 paasionfruit, 1 grape, 1 earl grey. I had taken the drinks to the car of course started drinking only to my husband taking a few sips from his earl grey tea and stating it had a funny taste and smell I myself thought he was just over reacting untill I tried it and smelt it then his cousin did the same. The stench of marijuana and the taste! I am so appuld I even had to take it home and have other family members confirm that we’re smelling and tasting the same. I can not believe that some gutless worker would do that to a customer! My husband requires a licence for work and if he gets caught with any drug in his system he could potentially loose his job! I have never ever I’m my life experiences such thing. I hate complaining about any food or drink as I have worked in the hospitality industrie and know the pain. However this is shameful upon the company. Imagine if that drink was meant to be for a child! I do understand we came when the shop was about to close although we were not the only customer there. I think the market city George st Gong Cha needs to check there stock to ensure this does not happen again!
