Hadn’t been here before until today but I had the most welcoming experience, the vibes were awesome and it’s cool to see how well everyone gets along and approaches their clients, i got a piece by their apprentice Luke and he did an amazing job and had a lot of attention to detail etc, next time I come this way I’ll be coming back

Go straight to Cristyn for all your anime tattoo needs. Quality art, quality person. My only hang up is that she is so far from Canberra! But she is so worth the travel time. I’ll definitely be back if I come up with any similar ideas in future. Loved my experience, thank you so much!

Amazing studio. Studio is always super clean and the staff are all really friendly and easy going. Such a relaxed and chill atmosphere. Special shout out to Gemma who I see when I go there, she’s amazing, love getting tattooed by her.

Massive thank you and 5 stars to Cristyn for my piece. I’ve been wanting my Pokémon tattoo for so long and she really captured everything. Not to mention during the whole experience she was real professional and I enjoyed my whole day in the shop. (Tried to upload a photo, but it kept failing)

Attended the golden monkey tattoo parlour for a full day session, upon arrival I asked the artist what brand of ink they used to ensure it was a brand that didn't aggravate my skin, as previously I have used certain ink brands whilst tattooing myself and only myself at home that didn't heal so well. The brand of ink the artist used (enteral) is the brand I now use at home. So that was good to hear.

Half way through the tattoo I mentioned that I can have a reaction to red tattoo ink (only red) at which point the owner turned his attention to me like a rabid dog, swearing and making me feel personally attacked openly calling me a liar.
I emphasised that I have been tattooed using the enternal brand multiple times, being tattooed for over 200 hours in a professional chair in 5 different countries and have never had a reaction to that brand of ink, hence why I asked when I immediately arrived what brand they used.
Throughout the session the artist was polite until the moment the owner turned on me.
Afterwards stating she wouldn't touch up my tattoo if there were any issues during the healing process.
From what was supposed to be a full day sitting I was tattooed for a measly 4 hours.
Not a full day,

I am however happy with the tattoos I received, just wouldn't recommend attending the establishment. Purely based on the owners aggressive and poor attitude.

The crew here is amazing! Super professional, talented and always having a laugh and making each client feel welcome and at ease! Got my first ever piece done with boady, went back for a second piece and now well on my way planning for more! Highly rate these guys, awesome pricing, positive atmosphere and won’t go anywhere else! Well worth the drive for me!

Boady always goes above and beyond, I gave him an idea of what I wanted and when I got there it was more then I could’ve hoped for, smashed it out in less time then I expected. Honestly couldn’t be happier. Thanks again legend, definitely will be back to finish off the arm.

I have been tattooed on multiple occasions by Boady, every experience has been second to none from consult, design, appointment through to aftercare of my AMAZING tattoos. The Golden Monkey Team are all very friendly, talented and professional. The cleanliness of parlour alone exceeds all expectations at the best of times, yet additional measures have still been taken during our unprecedented times (with Covid) to keep all safe. I highly recommend!

Friendly to customers, fair pricing. Music too loud to hear staff, only take cash which is a bit annoying.
