Rod is arrogant and rude. He allowed tenants to destroy my property and works against owners to protect tenants who he recommended even though we have now found out they are blacklisted from other agents in the area. Why was there no TICA check? Do not deal with Rod or this agency.

My partner and I loved our experience with Rod. Relaxed and natural, a much more personal and comfortable experience than previous rental relationships. Rod was always happy to chat when we had problems and would quickly help us out. Rod has very realistic expectations of tenants and is a very understanding property manager. I was told by Rod that someone else made a much higher offer then I did, in the end, I found out that the unit was sold for the same price as my offer was. He was so "professional" that haven't even informed when the unit was sold or let me know for how much it has been sold (as an applicant I have all the rights to be informed) but I had to find out on my own as the unit just disappeared from the market. I have been told that the unit was sold to someone else because they bought it for an investment property as the old landlord wanted to make sure that they keep the old tenants in it (obviously I haven't believe). At the end I found out that after a few weeks that has been sold, it was on the market for renting it out.and so on.not sure what was the story behind but he was clearly unprofessional.
