Godfreys Superstore reviews
25 Faisal was in the ' old school ' tradition where service not only comes with a smile BUT they don't wait until asked. In other words, the Godfrey staff @ Camperdown are reaching out 2 u 2 actively seek answers to All your questions.
They are (relatively) rare for Sales staff in the Sydney metropolitan area - well done GSC (Godfrey's Staff Camperdown!
Great customer service. Went in expecting to need a new battery or even replacement stick vacuum cleaner but Roy at the Camperdown store accurately diagnosed that the filter just needed replacing. Saved me over $100! Will be going back when/if a new filter/battery or even new appliance needed.
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE BOTH AUBURN AND ESPECIALLY CAMPERDOWN STAFF HAVE NO IDEA NOT EDUCATED ON ANYTHING DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.
Definitely the right place for a service & worth checking out the wide range of appliances.
The owner parks his delivery truck at the back street and blocks it from everyone else.doesn’t even care if there’s a line of car waiting to get through
I don't know how anyone could complain about the customer service at this store.
Excellent attention to who I was and what I wanted. I have ended up with the perfect appliance for my needs and the shopping experience was a dream.
Good customer service - reading other reviews yes they are old school sales people, but when you shop for a product like a vacuum you have to get a demo first! A big mistake a lot of my friends have made is think they need a Dyson when there are actually better brands out there.
Take the time to ask to demo different vacuums to suit your home, as I’ve sworn by the Hoover vacuum they sold me 7 years ago, and managed to purchase just the replacement head for it very easily which saved me from the bigger cost of buying a whole new vacuum!
Pleasant gent behind the counter, had the part I needed in stock. I was in and out in under 10 minutes
I looked up my hoover mop on the website, which told me to phone my local store for replacement pads.
I phoned them several times with no answer, eventually got onto the storeperson. I offered the product number, they asked just for the mop model number. They said yes to having the spares in stock.
I drove down there and the storeman was out the front smoking (I assume this was why the phone didnt get answered, Suggest they invest in a cordless phone)
He then tried to sell me the wrong pads (triangle not rectangle). Twice. Before eventually giving me the pad off the demo store mop for free. He had the excuse that he had been with a customer earlier.come on dude, its sunday arvo the store is dead, and the spare pads are 2 metres away from the counter.
I ended up with a pad so I could mop my floor which is good, but the customer service was lacking.
I also work with counter sales and know what its like to have several customers waiting and a phone ringing. Him having "one customer" isnt acceptable.
Efram is an old-school hard working salesman who we found to be informative, helpful, honest and genuine. He’s focused on customers being informed and satisfied.
They do not repair DYSON Vacuum cleaners. Despite typing into the search engine, ' Dyson repairs Sydney. Disappointing.
I bought a Hoover Air Stick Pro from Godfreys. At first I loved it. Now I can't stand the thing. The maintenance routine is long, messy and frequent. The roller gets full of hair. The unit gets blocked easily.
We went away for a while and so now it's out of warranty. To get it fixed they send it away and give you nothing to use in the meantime. I'll NEVER buy again from Godfreys. The staff are very nice but the company policy leaves much to be desired in customer service after purchase.
Good old school salesmen, will demo any product, I know when I go there they’re specialists and I’ll get what I want, unless their sales pitch works and I buy bigger
Avoid at all cost, one simple vaccum repair took 5+ months, with us having to deal with in-store (none but helpful), online customer seevice (attitude). Last but not least after taking us arround the ringer they told us to pickup the vaccum and then overchargged us for the repair versus what was in the paperwork that came with the repair. Then said they couldnt refund the overcharge. How places like this still exist is beyond me
Beware - I was in there March 21 and the only guy in the store (Matt) had 2 letters on the counter from Godfreys head office claiming the employee had misdirected customer purchases to his own bank account and had to attend a formal meeting in Godfrey's head office in Auburn (I saw the letter when I moved it to access the EFTPOS hand held device after the Tap & Go thing didn't work and this Matt processed my payment differently). I didn't realise the significance of this until the vacuum I purchased that day needed parts and I went back 2 weeks later - and there was no record of my purchase on the system. They are investigating but suspect that my purchase was also directed to the staff's personal account. Should you have any doubts, I encourage anyone reading this to contact Godfrey's head office (Auburn) and confirm that this incident occurred - in all likeliness I am not the only one.
Was looking for a cordless rechargeable vacuum cleaner the person who served me was very helpful, friendly, knowledgeable about the products he was selling it's the second time I've bought a vacuum cleaner from godfreys I'll definitely go back again to the Camperdown store if I need anything else
Seems to be a similar issue, after the vac i wanted was all sold out apparently but the display one I got "I took it out of the box yesterday, take it or leave it". I asked to speak to the boss he told me there was no point as he would tell me the same thing, rude rude rude. I asked if he was expecting any others in to which he advised sure ill order you one - if only he offered that from the start. I was furious. I hate this store.
Good range, but took my 5 year old son there to buy some bags, and after serving us the sales guy went out the back and started swearing loudly to him colleague! I had to cover my son's ears.
"Wertheim" is the terrible house brand, and they'll eagerly sell one to you at literally five times the value.
THE worst customer service I've ever experienced. Taking the matter to the dept of fair trading after arguing with them for 4 months about a vacuum that has NEVER worked since we bought it.
