9 We showed the shop owner a photo of our Volta Vacuum Cleaner Model Number. He gave us a set of replacement bags which he said would fit our machine. Upon opening the bag at home, we discovered that we were given the Wrong Bags!
I checked the model description on the bag that was sold to us, and our Vacuum Model wasn’t listed on the bags he provided us.
I took the bags back to the store. Owner said he couldn’t take the bags back because the pack was opened!
I said he had given us the wrong bags and showed him the photo of the model he was shown and I also told him which bags were the “Right Ones”
He insisted that he wouldn’t have given us the wrong bags, even though the Model wasn’t listed on the newly purchased bags.
His words, “they’ll Fit” even though the bags are Half the size of the right ones!
Went back to his original line, “I can’t re sell those bags because the pack was opened!
I said how was I supposed to know if the bags fitted without opening the pack!
Owner didn’t want to know or really care for that matter. Just preceded to tell me that he’d been doing this job for Years and he knows his Vacuum Cleaner Bags. Even if they’re Not Listed on the Pack as suitable for your vacuum.
For the Sake of a $14.95 purchase, he was adamant that he was not going to do an exchange or refund because the PACK WAS OPENED!
Will Never Shop At This Store Again!

I thought the service here in Port Macquarie was excellent. I had to exchange a faulty vacuum and it was done with no hassle whatsoever. I was particularly pleased with the performance the new manager Ben who kept me informed throughout
Great service. Went in for basic advice about old vacuum and came out with vacuum fixed.
Very pleased I bought the vacuum there a few years ago
Very impressed with the knowledge and recommendations made. I ended up buying a Hoover action vacuum. Just got home and tried it and it's fantastic. The power head really brushed in the finest of dust. I have two border collies that are allowed in sometimes and this is the first vacuum so far that made hair removal easier. Plus, it has a 2 year warranty.
Highly recommend going in the store, tell them what you need and leave yourself in their hands.
Terrible customer service. I have been waiting 4 weeks for a belt for my vacuum cleaner that I had to pay for upfront. I have to keep ringing them to find out what's going on.
They keep telling me there is plenty of stock but they don't know why they can't get one sent.
I have had excellent after-sales service from this store - and that was on a $150 product I bought at a different Godfreys store. These guys are the best.
The worst customer service I have received in a very long time. I am still waiting on a part for an $850 vacuum cleaner I requested 5 weeks ago (under warranty, yet asked me to pay postage- I live an hour away from the store.) When I rang to check on it I was told they had lost my new address (yet didn't bother calling my mobile phone no.) I went into the store over a week ago to physically pick it up but once again told it was in the mail. Pathetic.
