I live in Bondi. Had to travel to Godfreys at East Gardens for much better customer service. Ask for Andy. Godfrey’s Bondi Junction SUCK

My husband and I went to buy a Tineco mop/vacuum for our tiles and we were served by Andy at Eastgardens. We explained what we required it for, his demo and knowledge of the product was excellent. He spent time with us answering questions, he understood exactly what we needed. He also helped us with pricing We are so happy with the mop, it does the job excellently. We will be returning to him for our cleaner. Thank you Andy.

I was so over the moon with the service at Godfrey’s at Eastgardens! Andy went above and beyond to help me with my vacuum cleaners and I was so appreciative of his help… I will always go back in the future!

Andy (new to Godfrey’s eastgardens) was super helpful, offering pragmatic advice and recommendations. Prices were more competitive than anything on line too.

Andy helped me out of a massive pickle when my Hoover Allergy head broke - with house inspection in two days.
He found a replacement head for me on the spot, and was delightful at the same time.

Andy at Godfrey's has been super helpful in getting a product (which I love) serviced. Would highly recommend.

My dad and I came in to buy a vacuum because mine and my fiance’s super old one broke! Even though I was set on one kind of vacuum, Andy was so kind enough to go above and beyond to let me test the demo a couple of times and even helped us out with the pricing. Such friendly service! I sent my steamer for repair at the eastgardens store on the 20/10. The store person person explained the process on how it works, this person said they will check it over and give a quote if it can be repaired or if not can dispose of it for you and you can purchase a new one in store.

Ok, I’m not sure if that’s a good thing to say on that last bit about having to buy another one if it can’t be repaired as there are no longer parts available, especially if it’s only 5 years old and hasn’t been used that often.

So I received the machine back on 12/10 and took it home where I noticed that the handle is broken. I DID NOT HAVE A BROKEN HANDLE WHEN I BROUGHT IT IN.

I did not use the option for it to be disposed of since I thought it can be repaired somewhere else. (The machine no longer was taking in water and expelling steam).

So now I have a machine that definitely can’t be repaired. I have not gone back to them and complained as it is out of the way for me.

I 100% do not recommend Godfrey’s eastgardens.

Please also take extra special attention to positive reviews for anything as they can be fake and a good indicator of that is the lack of detail. People don’t post negative detailed reviews for fun

Faisal was extremely helpful/ professional when I bought my i- vac especially considering my age I got the one best for me with his help and the spray mop which is fantastic for my kitchen what a great guy loverly smile.

First and last time I will ever step foot in this shop. I knew exactly what type of vacuum I wanted and my budget. I let the salesman know which one I chose to purchase.

He then proceeded to try to upsell me not once, not twice, but three times. Each time I told him no, he'd point out another model and say why don't you get that one instead. He wouldn't even explain why I should choose the other models.

I specifically told him my budget and that I'm staying firm but he kept trying to get me to spend over my budget. I told him I have limited space for the vacuum but he kept trying to get me to get a much larger model.

Lesson learned, I will stick to online shopping or department stores from now on.

Godfreys Eastgardens is great place to buy vacuums. Today I went to the store and bought a wertheim Evolution and was served by Bemal who was super helpful and offered me the best price and I am so happy with the purchase. Thank you and highly recommend.

Godfreys eastgarden's customer service is excellent and very much professional. Specially I have to tell about Mr Faisal who is an awesome person. I bought a Bissell carpet washer and hoover action pets bagged vacuum cleaner. He helped me a lot to understand about the products and their services. The price was also reasonable. I'll love to come back again and again.

If I could provide zero stars I would. Godfreys Eastgardens is the most unhelpful, unprofessional company I've ever dealt with. A few months after buying an $800 Wertheim Evolution vac, the powerhead stopped rotating. This fault rendered the vac entirely unusable as it lost all suction. This is a major fault as defined by the ACCC. I was refused my right to a replacement or a refund, and was told I needed to send the vac away for repair. I reluctantly agreed and 3 weeks later the vac has come back WITH THE SAME FAULT. I rang the store to explain the situation to "Enoch", and again was instantly refused a refund or replacement. Being told that "processing a refund was above his level", I requested to speak to somebody who could help me, e.g. A manager and was denied. So now, I have an $800 paperweight with absolutely no next steps, or reassurance provided by this joke of a company. Never, ever, buy from here.

Ive been trying to contact them but no one answers. Considering the place is empty every time i walk past they should be jumping at answering the phone!

Does not deserve one star.
They claim to give a years warranty on vacuums but when it breaks well before a year they then claim it’s not covered due to wearable use!
The part is just as much a vacuum itself.
Godfreys head office are also hopeless and don’t want to help.
