Go Sea Kayak Byron Bay

The trip was so peaceful and being out there in the sea was perfect to forget about all everyday trouble and just feel connected to the nature. We’ve “only” seen one see turtle but for me, the wildlife was not the only reason for the trip. You can’t force the animals to be where you want them to be at every time of the day, but even knowing that you’re out there with them gives you the feeling of being part of something big.

A great experience even though it was a tad cloudy. We saw a pod of dolphins and a turtle and the guides were great at talking about the wildlife in the area and answering questions.

An incredible tour! Highly recommend if you’re looking for something fun to do in the afternoon in Byron. We saw dolphins (one even surfing the wave!), and a sea turtle. Would love to come back at peak whale season! Our guides were really friendly and very knowledgeable about the area and wildlife. Really enjoyed hearing about the indigenous names of the mountains and getting a better understanding of the local area! They also gave us good, clear instructions of how to kayak safely over the big waves a great day out

Amazing experience. The team of guides are great and really pull you into the beauty they are showing you. Seeing the dolphins was definitely the highlight of the tour. The guides were clearly lovers of their job and that really added to the experiance. KESALUL ️

The team at Go Sea Kayak are such legends! Caring, funny, truly passionate and love what they do.
Unlike all the other activities I had booked, it didn't felt rushed, touristy and money orientated. A great local business to support, and an afternoon to remember. The dolphins came to say hi and the guides were full of facts about the original land owners. A great vibe all round. Highly recommend

Very professional outfit, well organised and good focus on safety. Very entertaining trip, all the staff were good fun and we had a great few hours on the sea.

Our 2 instructiors were absolute Legends. It was the first time kayaking for the three of us guys. All of us were very nervous and freaked out when we jumped into the water but our guides helped all of us calm down and guided us very well. One of us got sea sick and couldn't paddle towards the end. Our instructor saw this and helped us by tying our boat to his and pulled us all the way back to land; Super knowledgeable and professional man. We enjoyed every second of this experience. 5 stars is an understatement for this experience and our 2 guides. (I'm sorry i cant remember their names). (They were both tall and slim builds).

Had to cancel mid trip because of the waves. They had an extremely nice refund policy. Got the option to refund or rebook. The trip till the cancellation was really fun.

It was really great! We were able to see turtles, dolphins and a shark. The guides are great and so is the atmosphere. I highly recommend this activity.

Ed and Daisy were an absolutely fantastic duo. Thoroughly enjoyed my time with them on the Brunswick Heads river tour, which I attended with my wife and daughter. They were informative throughout the tour without being boring and safety and first nations were top of mind. Will definitely come back again and will also rebook the Byron Bay dolphin kayak tour, as again with safety front of mind, my booked tour was cancelled, but with quick refund or rebooking option. I really appreciate their view on safety of customers and staff over the almighty $$$. Please support this local Byron Bay business. Value for money and a great work out to boot.

Great experience! The guys who worked on Tuesday the 29th were so so nice and you could tell they truly cared about their jobs and the sea as well as putting on a great tour!

At the end of our tour our guide said that the best way for us to “pay him back” was to look after nature and hearing that was the true byron spirit

I had the most amazing time on the 9.30am kayak tour with an incredible team of highly experienced, energetic and friendly guides. They were all super informative and made us all feel very at ease throughout the tour. I love the passion they all have for the ocean and the sealife, it makes the whole experience even more incredible. We saw dolphins and turtles maybe 10m away from our kayak and it was absolutely magical. I highly recommend this tour as everything about it for me was spot on. I hope to do it again some day on my travels back up the east coast.

Kayaking in the ocean with waves and waterlife around you - yes please! Had the best time kayaking and it was a super fun experience - we were surrounded by dolphins (and whales!) which was incredible. My personal favourite part of the adventure was riding the waves in the kayaks. Had never done it before and it surely gave me an adrenaline boost. The staff was amazing and super helpful and friendly and I actually got to chat to some of them quite a bit which was great. We even had a dip in the middle of the ocean! Such a thrill and would highly recommend it!

This place is great! Went on a super fun kayak tour. It was a beautiful day out, we saw dolphins and turtles. The guides were all amazing. It was easy to book and the pricing was reasonable. I would highly recommend them!

Our kayak trip in Bruns was fine & the tour guides were lovely.
The negative review is because the photos advertised as included in the price haven’t been provided, I presume they’re lost. The lack of communication regarding this has been frustrating. Our trip was around Christmas time, I’ve contacted the business a few times about it & received one email back stating the pics may have been posted on fb, which they weren’t, and I’ve been checking regularly.
It may sound petty but they were important to me, I surprised my family as a gift, photos are advertised as included which is why we didn’t bring our phones/camera to take our own. It’s only fair to get what you pay for.
I would have appreciated an honest response whatever the situation rather than no response, which is why I’m now leaving this review.
When kayak hire is $20/hr yet we paid $60 for a little over an hour of kayaking (the other hour was spent on Christmas beach) and without the advertised included photos & refreshments as stated on the Brunswick river kayak website I booked through. I’m feeling pretty disappointed and ripped off and hope others who choose this company get what they pay for.

For me it was a last minute plan to do kayaking, Inddeed it was the best decision I chose Go Sea Kayak Byron bay! Kayaking with those lovely people was the highlight of my Byron bay trip. I could literally touch dolphins. Matt and (Sorry I forgot the name of Amazing knowledgeable guide) were so good. They both have strong passion towards the nature and just loved their job. I felt so safe throught the trip. I highly recommend to do kayaking with Go Sea Kayak Byron bay. Seeing a pod of dolphins from literally 1-2 meters away is a such blessing and if you are really lucky like me, A dolphin might give you hifi️ Thank you very much guys for making my trip memorable️ #Blessed #Thankyou

We had to rebook several times due to COVID border closures and then poor weather ended up cancelling on the day but the team were so helpful and friendly all the way through
