Got our motor ready under a short turn around for us to go away and even took our distress calls when we flooded it and had no idea what we were doing on our maiden voyage.

One star for today took boat over for battery, after I left went home some kilometers he tex come pick up boat, said he could not do it was not booked in after accepting it in the morning.he did not ask me life I wanted the battery for a sale and I put it in myself, not good he lost the sale,

Ill give you a run down about the recent experience i had with go boating smeaton grange. At the start spoke to gary he was nice enough to store my engine while the boat was away being sand blasted. He charged $200 to take the eng off and cables out steering off etc.
I asked for a quote for the main wiring and some bits and pieces never got one. After 2 weeks they said to bring the boat in and it took another week to quote it. Being weeks out from christmas they gave me a estimate of $2000 and i said i would like a proper quote. A day later they sent me a price for $2900. How can you under quote $900? Joe (mr know it all) but cant even work out a normal boat rewire quote.
In the end i said ill pick the boat up took them another 4 days to get it ready even though they wernt going to do the work. Spoke to gary he said he would quote me for the engine to be put back on and a board. Never got the quote just a message saying come pick up the boat its $550.
At the end of the day it isnt about the money even though most places wanted to charge alot less pays to do some research for the long run.

Impressed by this, I decided to re-power my boat with Go Boating. The quality finish of their work exceeded my expectations. They took their time to plan the re-power (including re-doing the dash) and explain to me the details of the build. (I had a lot of questions)! Go Boating Serviced and carried out some major repairs to my Sea Ray 180 Sports, unfortunately the boat had issues starting straight after the service being done, costing me more money. I was P.off, having to pay more money for something I believed was part of the service, adding to the frustration the Manager, Joe showed no empathy, However the owner Gary spoke with me explaining the whole process giving me total peace of mind, Thanks Gary.

I first meet Gary when our family were going to buy a boat, he gave us some great information on what to look for and said when I find a boat I'm interested in to give a call. I was in desperate need for someone to tune-up my 5L Mercruser over the Christmas/New Year holiday before going away on a 10 day ski trip. Called every mechanic I could find between Windsor and Wollongong and all either on holidays or booked out. Like the others Gary at GoBoating was also booked solid during last week but was good enough to have a look at my problem. Gary and team not only found the misfire issue but also fixed it so the old girl is now running perfectly again. I can confidently say my boat will now only go to Gary and GoBoating for all service or mechanical needs. Thans for the help during a very busy time Gary.
