I had a few lessons with Mr James and he is amazing, he is friendly and has a very good way of explaining things making it easy for me understand what is meant, giving me confidence in my exams driving me to do very well.

I cannot thank Global Education Academy more. They helped us believe in our daughter. The admin team is very friendly and the teachers are experienced and know what they are doing. The curriculum is quite good as we could see the text books coming home unlike the schools so as parents we were more involved with what she does at Global than what she does at school. Her last report went from C and B to A. We were hesitant at the beginning because the price (or how they call it, the investment) was higher than expected, but it was worth it. The instalment plan helped.

Global Education Academy is a professional operation that encourages children to thrive and believe in their own abilities without placing undue stress and pressure on them. My son enjoyed his weekly sessions and got so much out of them. Thanks to Charley for encouraging Emmanuel to be his best.

Our child commenced at the beginning of the year, year 6 student. Went from getting 50% in her maths to 98%. We are grateful to the Global Education Academy and re-enrolled her for next year. Highly recommended.

Dr Majeda and the team at Global Education Academy have been instrumental in helping our daughter overcome her lack of confidence with maths. In the short few weeks that she has been attending the academy she has not only improved but is enjoying telling the family what she has learnt (we have been to many different tutors and never had this response). When I started to look for tutoring school for my daughter I didn't really know where to start. Ema is an excellent student at her school but I just felt she needed bit more challenging environment and more personalized approach. She has been going to GEA now for about a year and I am really happy how she is progressing. Small class size and excellent teachers keep kids engaged and interested in their learning. She is more confident in her math as it was always an area where she felt bit unsure. The GEA staff approach to kids and parents is amazing as they try to fit their classes around children's busy schedules. Ema will for sure continue her journey through GEA tutoring in hope to get to selective high school.

I am so happy that my son made it to selective school. We were not confident he had the potential, but when we heard Dr Majeda's story about her daughter who was "Sound" and made it to Caringbah high, we had hope. Global Education Academy did above and beyond what we expected. The fees were not cheap, but it was worth every cent. They have amazing teachers who really care. The customer service is excellent. My son worked very hard for a year and a half, he put the effort and was supported all the time by the tutors there and especially the free homework help they offered. We are so grateful. I know that the selective school will give my son a new future. We cannot afford a private school and the public schools in our area are not that good. You saved us GEA. Thank you so much.

Caring staff with quality tuition helped my son achieve a high selective school placement score

Global Education Academy has been absolutely amazing for my daughter. Less than one term into the Primary School Tutoring program, major improvements were noticed by the school teacher through school assessments and my daughter's confidence in her own abilities started to show. Changing to the Specialised Tutoring branch produced significant overall improvements in class assessments and dramatic increases in grades. She even has fun at Global Education Academy and looks forward to her weekly classes. Whether you are considering School Tutoring or Specialised Tutoring, I recommend Global Education Academy - both you and your child will thoroughly enjoy the experience.

Education standards are compromising. You don't get the standard of education which is committed in the beginning. No personal attention towards child even though their Fee x5 time expensive than Pre-Uni and other competitor institute. Would not spend so much money for similar services. Very much disappointed: (

My son attended Global Education Academy at Kogarah over a couple of years but not all terms. He enjoyed his time there and in his own words, appreciated how the teachers really took time to explain concepts and ideas. He couldn’t make use of the included homework assistance due to distance from home though that would have been terrific.
He received his top choice for selective school and also received an offer of a private school scholarship.
We appreciate the efforts of GEA and would recommend it if your clever child needs extending to ensure their understanding and may otherwise get bored and less motivated.

Please everyone, be careful when dealing with the centre. Please do not use direct debit with EZyPay. They suck money out of you even when you no longer receive tutoring service from Globla Education Academy.

Our son had the best experience at Global Education Academy in Kogarah. We enrolled him for the selective program. He learned so much from problem solving to thinking outside the square to strong foundation in English and Maths. His attitude also changed after only a few months. He was independent and motivated. He is enjoying being in selective school and he is coping very well now. When we moved to the north shore, we were excited to know that Global opened a branch in Turramurra. We have now enrolled our second son who is in year 4 and referred some friends too. Customer service is excellent. The team always take their time to explain and accommodate our needs. They are quite flexible and try their best to work around our tight schedule. I cannot recommend them more.

I worked here for a short time and I was terribly treated and for some reason everyone agreed with me and Majeda was the only person who couldn’t see she was wrong I was told that I don’t decide what is fair she decides that for me, I was told because I was employed as junior admin cleaning was the only thing I was supposed to do even though it wasn’t in my job description, she wasn’t fair to me so I left and then I wasn’t paid for 2 weeks of work until almost 2 weeks after my pay day so it affected my family as a result, the staff turnover in this place is incredible people constantly come and go, personally I do not trust a person like this with my child or money.

I cannot recommend Global Education Academy highly enough. Two of my children attend GEA. The elder child is enjoying being extended beyond his school curriculum and enjoying being able to reach his potential. His younger brother, in the space of 6 months, has progressed from being at least a year behind in reading and comprehension to achieving at an age appropriate level. I never thought I’d see the day that he was keeping up with his classmates at school, but GEA has made it possible. I cannot thank the staff enough.

All of the staff are congenial, professional and obviously enjoy their work. They make learning fun and my boys love attending. They have bent over backwards to be flexible with days and times for tutoring so that my younger son’s sporting commitments can be accommodated. I am not at all surprised that the owner and founder of GEA, Dr Majeda Awawdeh, was the winner of the Australian Small Business award in 2017. She has built an outstanding academy.

Thanks so much to the family at Global. You have done an incredible job with both of my kids. My son Alex did 8 months at Global in the lead up to the selective exam. They didn't do practise tests every week like other places, but taught him how to problem solve, real knowledge, techniques and strategies. The tutors knew how to help him, motivate him and build momentum. His confidence grew as did his ability. The teachers were very professional and in tune. Learning how to manage his time as well as what to do if he ran out of time, were really great strategies.
Well, he obtained his dream school, and got Into selective! Caringbah! Even without super great marks from his very competitive school. Global has really changed his prospects. Of special note was his increased interest andimprovement in creative writing and in maths taught by the incredible founder of the academy. Alex returns for school holiday workshops as does his sister. His sister has started Saturday mornings to help her with her struggles with spelling and maths. She is now reading voraciously having gained huge confidence now that spelling is no longer a big barrier. She just needed that time at Global to get the fundamentals locked in and now she's really thriving at school.
The big difference with Global is it is that it's incredibly creative and fun. Not what most tutoring places could be described as. The courses reflect that, even school holiday workshops. I can't thank the Global family enough for inspiring and caring for my kids. There is nothing else out there like them.
