Glenn McGrath Oval reviews
14Nice oval with very friendly staff and volunteers however trying to find a park is absolutely atrocious if you are planning on finding a car park then allow at least 30 mins to find a park so you don't miss your game.
Nice open oval with cricket nets down the bottom part and a huge oval up the top part. Great for weekend sports and or training. Kiosk working there on the weekends for sports with great coffee and a really awesome smelling BBQ but since I'm coeliac no BBQ for me but the kids love it. Beautiful sunny open area and a really nice place for weekend kids sports.
Thank you.
Cheers.
Increasing housing density in the area is only compounding the problem of limited parking available on weekends.
Large playing field surrounded by a closed fence. They play cricket during the season and soccer during its season on the weekends, but besides that, USED to be a great place to brings dogs.
Keyword: Used, as they could go off lead and run around the whole enclosed oval, but the Rangers have started imposing fines for off lead dogs. It sucks now.
It was a great community place 12 months ago but council has neglected.rubbish and damage is common place. No bins, lacking in lighting.very disappointing considering the lack of community green space.
An improvement could start with patching up and rebuilding where bits of the fence surrounding the Oval has broken.
This oval is used by too many people compared to the amount of parking that's available in nearby streets.
A great local oval close to the Caringbah shopping centre. It's well maintained and we take the grandchildren there to play on the swings and to run about outside. We have seen many soccer matches played here during the soccer season. The toilet facilities are clean and well looked after.
Good oval for cricket mostly but soccer is played in the winter. Very dry at the moment. Close to Caringbah shopping village
Good area to take the kids to run off some steam when the field is not being used, also has a small playground next to it with swings, some climbing stuff and a couple of slides, it's well maintained but is quite close to a main road (separated by a tall hedge) and isn't fenced. When the field is in use it also has a canteen I believe and the toilets are open.
Parking is very bad as lots of multi dwelling apartments have 2 or up to 4 cars each in the streets also trailers and boats making parking an issue council should regulate parking to 2 hr max Monday to Sunday 7am till 6pm
Fantastic public facility, cricket through summer and incredibly well run by Lilli Pilli Footbal Club through the Winter season. MiniRoos games all through Saturday morning. Full field games on Saturday afternoons and throughout Sunday.
Bathed in sunshine and filled with five soccer matches all over the oval. Children and parents of all ages enjoying playing sport.
Love that they've opened this up for more regular park footballers. It's great to play on such an even surface. Nice place to catch some quality grade cricket in the summer too.
