Glen Innes Visitor Information Centre

Would highly recommend to stop in and chat to Fred about all there is to see and do in the area. He's very knowledgeable and will happily give you up to date info and maps with easy to follow directions.

I didn't actually go in but 1) it's dead easy to find and 2) they gave me great advice, in a timely fashion, when I emailed them before heading to the area

Staff were friendly and helpful with any questions we had. The gentleman in the sapphire shop attached to the information centre was very informative and helpful also and even went out of his way to fix a clasp on my wife's sapphire ring. Many thanks for the help.

The centre itself is very nice but the toilets are in need of a facelift although clean enough.

Staff here are super helpful and there are heaps of little things to buy for friends and family

My husband called in for information on where to stay for the night. He entered through the door which said OPEN the next thing was that he was ambushed by a lady that came out from a room and told him off, she said there's no one in here you shouldn't be in here as well as other stuff, well it said OPEN. The person who was running the show stepped out for a moment. May I say she did apologise for comming on so strong. Next time you might want a sign that does say back in 5.

Glen Innes visitor information centre, second to none, freindly, informative, helpful. They set us on the right path immediately saving us time we were able to spend seeing more of this great town and its surrounds. Also an awesome sapphire shop next door. Loved our time in Glen Innes. Next time staying longer, and yes will visit the information centre first.
