A simultaneous settlement on 1st March 2022 for the sale of our former home in Chapel Hill Brisbane and purchase of our beautiful apartment in Kingscliff New South Wales, was against a backdrop of the significant rain event "Rain Bomb" in the Brisbane and South- East Queensland before it moved south, impacting severely on the Kingscliff and Northern New South Wales Region. The added challenges were Internet loss, inability to email, loss of telephone services, and flooding of roads and properties in the respective areas.
