New years day I called to see what time they were open to.awesome, I had an hour before they closed. 5 minutes later. "sorry we are done". Disappointing for 3 hungry children and 2 frustrated parents. Not happy.

A solid 4.5/10.
Almost Adequate.
Food was pretty bad man. Not top 10 worst, but bad.
Service was delightful and prompt.

Edit: this was for fish and chips. Their burgers/etc could be great.

Just moved here from Tassie, first fish and chip shop we've been to, will look no further. Friendliest staff. Good old style fish and chips.

So this place was dope just a couple of months back. Chips were crunchy and fresh fish was dope. It just have cha he's hands at some point, recently. Chips were just cooked so they were that mix of powdery and soft rather than fluffy and crunchy, the fish had raw sections but the prawn cutlets were a smash and delicious. This was the second time something like this happened.

Just be aware when you go in that a lot of people say they're great because they were once.

Best fish I've ever had. So fresh. And they gave me a massive portion I couldn't finish, so worth it

If you enjoy food that's average to poor in quality, this is the joint for you.
Plutopup was cold, fish had a funky off taste (I'd hate to know how old it was) and the burger just tasted like grease.
Overpriced

Went there on Good Friday and even though it was busy, the staff were friendly and the fish and potato scallops were amazing! Kudos to the team there, they were under the pump!

This place will take you back to 1990. You get everything you want from here that reminds you of the old school chicken shop down the road that you’d go to as a kid. I opted for the crumbed fish and chips with extra potato scallops. I felt nostalgic eating it. The fish was a bit overdone, but I have no complaints - it all hit the spot.

The service was prompt and very friendly - the staff are great.

The only thing is no sitting area, but friendly lady telling us that there is park nearby and yes they are not far, even can walk to the beach too to have the yummy crispy fish cocktails and chips.

Very, very disappointing. Used to enjoy this place, but the last two times have been terrible. Last time everything was overcooked and very oily. This time the cocktail fish tasted old, the calamari ring were rubbery and tasted bad, the potato scallops were heavy and undercooked - all inedible. No leftovers as it went in the bin.
The only reason for any stars is that the kids said 'the chips aren't burnt this time' and 'they actually taste pretty good'.
So, we'll be going to the beach or harbour for fish and chips next time.

Life has improved substantially, exponentially even, since discovering this place. That is all.

They are very helpful and there food are very yummy and the people are very nice to have a chat

Prior experience will lead me to say the food is normally good, The lack of EFTPOS facilities was however disappointing

Just got my fish & chips. Unwrapped them to find fish & mash patato. They must just put the chips in the microwave. Soft mushy chips. I thought chips got put in the deep frier to be chrispy nice.

Very tasty fish, got really good value for money but unfortunately staff were rude

Fish and chips not up to your usual Standard. A bit on the oily side which is often caused by deep fat fryers being at too low a temperature.

No Eftpos, but the family portion of chips were cooked in good order by friendly, polite, staff. Use sparsely, but excellent post beach lunch.
