Girraween Little Athletics reviews
2 Season 2022-2023 has ended. Back in September 2023.
Season 2022-2023 has commenced at CV Kelly Park, Girraween. Competition is on Friday nights from 6pm. There is both on and off street parking. The club has grown to almost 500 members. Events include track races from 60m to 1500m, racewalking from 700m to 1500m and field events including long jump, triple jump, high jump, discus and shotput. Javelin and 3000m walks are held on Saturday afternoons after 2pm with Girraween Athletics Club (senior athletics). Back to Friday night, there is a canteen with a range of barbecue items available. You must try the Joey Special. In the canteen, hot chips and chicken burgers are very popular. There are also hotdogs, pies and sausage rolls.

Run on Friday nights, so it leaves the weekend open.
I moved from another Athletics because I didn't like the vibe there (if you can call it that) and I've found here is much better.
