We used Gilly's Gateway Transfers for our transfers each way between Ballina airport and Byron Bay and have no hesitation in strongly recommending his service. Very friendly and reliable we will definitely use Gilly again when we're in the area.

I booked transfers during Schoolies week in Byron Bay for my son and his 18 year old friends. Gillys Gateway Transfers are a dream to deal with especially when Qantas changes your flights multiple times. The transfer from Gold Coast Airport to Byron Bay during peak season (10,000 Schoolies) was smooth, comfortable, reliable and professional. We were met at the baggage carousel by our driver, who helped remove our bag from the carousel and took them to the van. The car seats I'd requested (one forward facing + three boosters) were already installed, and were clean and great quality carseats also.

It was a flat fee transfer, and he kindly took us the scenic route to our accommodation, so we could see the hinterlands (even though it meant a slightly longer drive for him).

He also collected us to return us to the airport, this time in a different car - but still new, clean and very comfortable. Upon arriving at the airport, he took our bags for us to the check in desk, which was super helpful as I also had kids with me.

All communication was prompt, and an PDF receipt with the confirmation of all the details was sent through, which was very reassuring.

I will definitely be using Gilly's Gateway Transfers again on my next trip to Byron!

Cannot speak highly enough of this company. Last year at Splendour when my daughter was stranded due to another (not to be named) car service cancelling her airport transfer with less than one days' notice, Gilly's stepped in and arranged a car for her which was fantastic.
On a recent visit to Byron I got to experience the great service first hand. Gilly is professional, organised (always get a text with driver details in advance) and friendly. He even sent me a text when he dropped kids off at the airport safely. Highly recommend!

Gilly picked us up from the airport on time even though our flight was delayed by several hours. He was really great to chat with and he even organised another transfer from our bnb to the airport when he was booked out.
