GIANTS Stadium / Sydney Showground reviews
67Facilities and seats were good. Food options are there but were inevitably inflated due to the location. Had a blast watching the game. Sucks that Sydney Thunder lost though and I didn’t get a bucket at the entrance.
The easter shown was great.but no disability shuttle courtesy bus.
So don't park in p1 or you have to walk to the next entrance on the other side of the park to collect your wheelchair and scooters.totally useless for people with disabilities and no prior warning.no one at the show cared.
I was attending the Supanova expo which took place today and tomorrow; fans of anime, cosplay, games, toys and collectables will love this expo & best of all, kid 12 and under get in free.
The Playfair Room in the Council
Stand at Giants Stadium, Sydney
Olympic Park was used as a
venue for a 'Thank You'
Morning Tea for some of the
2021 Sydney Royal Show
volunteers.
They enjoyed the morning tea
while talking to fellow volunteers
and watching videos of
photographs taken throughout
the show.
Giants Stadium - great place to watch the Giants - plenty of good, clean facilities and food/drink outlets too.
Spent the week at the Easter Show 2021, absolutely fabulous experience. The show is as good as ever despite concerns over COVID.
Parking for the Royal Easter Show is a distance from the main entry. Well kept facilities and lots of helpful volunteers and staff.
Very nice showground. I visited this place at the time of Easter show. It was really great experience with awesome evening shows. Fireworks, bike racing, car racing, singing and dancing. Well spent time.
Not what it was when the Easter Show was at Moore Park. Those were some special times back in the 80's when laser shows were new. Well remember how dark it was and how those cars came so very close but never actually crashed, and everyone loves it when cars collide. Or nearly collide. I guess everything moves on? PS the beach they advertise for the T20 is in fact sand with no water which, if I remember rightly is in fact a desert? Not a body of water in sight.
Small, parking can be hectic on game night's. Food options are ok although sometimes there are food trucks outside.
Great place to come for the Royal Easter Show, but also good to come all year round to watch AFL, BBL etc.
The thing I love most about the stadium is the sheer variety of food on offer. Really a step forward in terms of stadiums and arenas.
Great to be able to go to the royal Easter show just a shame that there were a few fights & not many showbags to choose from: (
There were absolutely NO SIGNS for car parks or buses and shuttle buses.
I took someone with a Disability and NEVER AGAIN.
God help those with young children like my daughter and Granddaughters.
The need little carts to transport people either around the show and to and from buses shuttles.
We love the Easter Show! Get there early and take a leisurely stroll around the exhibits. See the animals and crafts. Too many foods to choose from!
With a 12 year old, a visit to Sideshow Alley was required. She loves the rides!
We bought reserved tickets in the Showground which took the stress out of finding seats for the evening show. (OK, the crowd was down because of COVID, but normally seats are hard to find!)
Great effort by the RAS after last year's cancellation.
Went back a 2nd time.just me and my partner wanted to back again to go on all the rides we couldn't go on when we took the kids.it was such a blast! So much fun. Sushi was delicious and Rides were so awesome! I'd go back again if I could.
It was good.but the juice and food wasn't fresh, and the orange juice, there was many oranges there, so we thought its a real orange juice but it was just like a bad bottled juice from woolworths
Land of the GIANTS. Always a fun day out at the game. A good view of the game and the atmosphere is always enjoyable.
Great place to watch the footy, though the lines for food and drinks can be out of control. You can take your own though, just not anything you've purchased at a cafe or other so outside the ground.
Congrations to the designers. The ladies toilets in new grand stand are fantastic. Plenty of them amazing
