Beautiful shop and very lovely staff! I asked a question about one of their items and they completely stopped what they were doing to assist me! Very hospitable!

My go-to spice shop when I'm in Australia. Brilliantly stocked and had such a Christmasy vibe with carolers singing by the balcony. The lovely assistant was cheerfully serving up a Christmas tea and helped everyone at the store (I forgot her name!) and when the crowds died down, we had a nice chat. My must buy is the Roast Chicken Spice and I grabbed a few others for presents. Great outlet, glad to have popped by. Date of visit: 16 Nov, afternoon.

Yet again exceptional service and great product recommendations. The tummy tea and sleep tea are both on point! Each trip to Sydney must include Gewurzhaus Spice House in The Strand.

Love! Walked in here from a friends recommendation, all the spices and teas smell amazing, love how they come with suggested recipes and self serve amounts so you can get just as much as you need.

Tried the tex mex spice and was excellent! Not overpowering, but by no means underwhelming. Just a casual “Hey gurl! I’m here, enjoy your burrito”

Simply, I bought five spices and was surprised at about $90.
Of course, I can understand the high quality, so I expect the taste to be significantly different from supermarket spices. I will report back after using it.

Love this store, always interesting spice mixes, rubs, salts, peppers and teas. Great for gifts for the chef in everyone.

Visited the Strand store on the weekend with my mum and bought a bunch of spices and teas to try as a new customer. Customer service was great. I'm writing this review straight after trying the Mama's Meatball Blend and it was so good I could've eaten all the meatballs in one go. Mama Gabi knows her stuff! Can't wait to try the other spices we bought.

We came here for our Xmas gifts. All the staff are friendly and helpful, especially Alice spending time to explain everything when we asked her. Good customer service with warm-heart

I love this place for two main reasons:
1. The range of really incredible spices available;
2. Staff who are genuinely knowledgable about their stock and always willing to discuss the intricacies of a spice and how it can be used,

Incredible range of teas, salts, spices and sugars plus kitchen gadgets and more. Friendly staff are happy to share their knowledge and help you find what you are after or a new favourite.

The Aromatic air within the store is a Gastronomical delight, along with the incredible selection if spices from around the world.

Was looking for a last minute gift yesterday and came across this lovely store which had a great range of meat rubs and salts which is exactly what I was after. The staff were excellent - super friendly and helpful, the store was clean and bright and some of the rubs/spices smelt great. Would definitely visit again for my own pantry!

A worldwide travel through teas and spices.
Such a variety of mixes for every taste. There are many Australian mixes as well which is not so easy to find around. All their combination of spices is unique and the taste is guaranteed.

I really enjoyed visiting this shop today and ended up purchasing three bottles of spices. There were some interesting salts and I ended up purchasing the Persian blue salt - thought I will give it a go.

A lady greeted me as I walked in, very friendly. I would come back again just to walk around and see what other stuff they have.

They also sell these little salt dishes and spoons which I thought was really cute.

I had an amazing experience at this store. I'm doing a transformation program with a personal trainer and so had gotten bored of the limited, bland foods that I can eat.

Bronwyn (who works on Sundays) was truly amazing and guided me through multiple spice blend without sugar and minimal salt and then talked me through all the ways I could use them in my meals in low calorie ways as well as meal ideas.

I have to say it was the single best retail experience I've ever had at that's not something I say lightly.

I've only tried 2 of the 8 blends I bought so far, but have been blown away by the depth of flavor and will 100% be going back to stock-up and buy the jars (i just bought the 20g sample packs initially).

For anyone trying to eat healthy or on a weight training program, this place is a god send!

The collection of spices and rubs and salts they have here is tremendous, I use products from here in my cooking almost daily. The garlic lovers spice is particularly good. It wasn't so busy on a Monday leading up to Christmas, staff were happy to show me around and explain some of the spices I hadn't seen before. I'll keep coming back here.
