Get Smart Landscaping

Rob and the guys at Get Smart have done an outstanding job landscaping my new build. From the outset to completion, communication was fabulous. The quality of the job is fantastic and all trades were courteous, tidy and went out of their way to get the job done to perfection. I could not give Get Smart Landscaping a higher recommendation!

We engage Get Smart Landscaping (GSL) to build our garden including retaining walls, fence and driveway, as a part of our house knock-down-rebuild. The landscaping project is half way through. We are so impressed by how our land has been transformed so far. Marty is not only a seasoned landscaper, but also a leader who leads by example. We often see him on site operating the bobcat, sorting out challenges that pop up during the construction and explaining the resolutions and ideas to us. Under Marty's leadership, the team have done a brilliant job. Besides the quality work (our land has never been this flat), we are amazed to see our site is kept neat and clean. Thank you, Marty and GSL team (Danica, Volker, Jack, Tom, Jacob and many others we could't name) for bringing our dream garden into reality. Hence, we are not hesitate to recommend this business.

Marty and the whole team, including the office staff, have been attentive to our requirements and provided excellent follow-up.
Our job came at the end of an exhausting 3 years of construction and their focus on providing costing for each part of the work was reassuring.
The end result has been a spectacular, mostly native garden. We wanted to bring in the birds and have plenty of food for bees, and we did not want to wait for many years to achieve the desired result. Therefore, we elected to go with advanced trees for the larger slower growing species. Get Smart found some wonderful specimens which, together with the functional watering system they installed have, to date, survived transplanting well.

We wanted to have our backyard and front garden renovated. Marty from Get Smart was very helpful every step of the way. The team were great, very efficient and professional.

Our initial contact with Get Smart was with Chad and the maintenance team, who took over maintenance of our garden about 18 months ago. They are knowledgeable, hardworking and take genuine pride in the work they do. Our garden is 2,500 sqm in size and had a few tired sections, so Chad and the team have shared great ideas and worked hard with us to transform every corner of the property from what was a nice garden, into a spectacular garden! One section we have just completed required us to design and undertake a more major construction project, so we were introduced to Rob from the design and construction team. Rob and his team have just completed handover of that project. We are so happy with the outcome, and high standard of workmanship, it looks incredible. The whole process was managed so smoothly.
So we have now worked across all of the Get Smart divisions - design, project construction and maintenance - and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

We've recently completed a knockdown and rebuild, selecting the team from Get Smart Landscaping early on. We chose Get Smart Landscaping due to the strong references from other customers and their friendly yet professional conduct as well as their proactive suggestions in early engagements.

Get Smart Landscaping designed and built spectacular spaces throughout our entire property. The execution at the front of our home really compliments the house with carefully matched foliage and garden structure. But it is at the rear of our property that they've really created a haven for us - a space that is structured but not heavy on the maintenance.

Since they finished, all plants and trees have thrived throughout some serious weather events in Sydney (drought then flood). It has been truly exceptional to watch the evolution of the garden and absolutely wonderful to see the wildlife return.

Their staff are second to none, they are hardworking, honest, reliable, polite, friendly, obliging with a strong attention to detail and just all-round awesome people. Last summer we had a new pool installed and Get Smart Landscaping to do the landscaping works. Rob was so helpful from our first call to showing us how to use the irrigation system on the last day, Their team worked really hard throughout a really hot period and even worked late on a really hot Friday to get our irrigation working to keep all the plants watered. The end result was more than we could have wished for and since we have used their maintenance team our garden has never looked so good. Thanks to the whole team.
