Right from the moment we decided to sell the old family home, Sam & Joe were beside us guiding us through the process. The house which was a 110yr old Federation cottage & showing its age always looked like a challenging sale proposition. However the Georges advised us how to best prepare & present the property for sale, how to market it & what contract terms would most likely attract buyers. They managed to generate huge interest with 150 inspections & 80 contracts issued. So it was no surprise that on Auction day when a large crowd was in attendance the Agency managed the occasion professionally & achieved a very successful outcome for us. We had a really positive experience purchasing a property from Sam and Jo at an auction in June 2022. We had been looking in the Strathfield area for the past five months and have seen how agents operate: some well and some not so.

The business of selling a property has become more lucrative than ever before. The aim is get the highest price and largest market share whilst ethics, morals and code of conduct play second fiddle. Short-sighted success, I believe, as it’s not a sustainable model as buyers will not forget when done wrong.

They don’t even deserve 1 star it’s only that you can’t give minus 10 stars they sold my mothers house for a very low price they where out of suburb not knowing the area they were misleading they could only fool my 2 dopey brothers that were desperate to take whatever they can get so that they can line there pockets after they put my mother in a home they took advantage of the situation your better off going to a real estate that charge higher fees but they can get the vendor the results and they asked us to give them a good review when they stuffed up

Although we didn't end up buying in Strathfield, the Team at Georges Ellis & Co were extremely accommodating and helpful during my search.

Many of the other agents in Strathfield were arrogant and not helpful. Joseph and Sam were extremely professional, transparent and honest.

Searching for a house during COVID was challenging however Joseph and Sam went above and beyond to find us a home.

Not good agents! Had problems with them and when I wanted to withdraw from agreement, THEY REFUSED, just to be difficult.

They were rude arrogant and very pushy.
