George St Loft reviews
25Saw this cute little cafe this morning. So happy we decided to go in. The beautiful old building and the rustic interior makes for a very cosy setting. Staff were friendly, good menu, smooth and creamy coffee. Don't miss out on trying the scones, so fresh and yummy 10 out of 10, as was the lumberjack cake, both served warm. Please support this business. It would be tragic not to be able to enjoy everything this cafe has to offer.
Unfortunately I am coeliac. And they have pride in servicing ppl like me. But it is contaminated. Even time!
We randomly stopped here for an early lunch, and loved the place. Was very cosy and they served food quickly. Staff was friendly and responsive.
Food was great, pricing wasn't expensive and staff were amazing, fantastic customer service and very caring. Our orders were running a bit late due to a technology fail so they gave us a coffee when they didn't have to worry. Would highly recommend
We had a fabulous breakfast at the loft. Lovely atmosphere with attentive staff complimented the menu. Recommend for a Sunday breakfast, will be back soon for Sunday lunch.
Amazing customer service, very accommodating, friendly, attentive and professional - all so rare in the area. The Cook even came out to have words with me re meal…which was so fresh and delicious. Nice atmosphere too. Thank you!
Absolutely beautiful meals and the cafe is a lovely cozy environment.i got a caramel milkshake and a wrap, beautiful flavours and the food looks amazing, not a long wait time for the food either.definitely recommend going!
For me personally I wasn't a fan of the coffee. That's just me, so it might be different for you
Most delicious food, coffee, smoothies and cakes at this brilliant cafe.
Everything is yummy and you really can’t go wrong on their menu. A wonderful local favourite of ours.
Great little cafe with a cute courtyard. The food is very good, and the coffee, excellent although the service could be improved. Slow to place your order as there is no table service.
Enjoyed a pleasant morning today chatting with a young couple over a very nice coffee. Decided to stay on for lunch, nicely presented and delicious
Been here for breakfast a couple of times now, love love love the smashed avo with the beetroot relish - delicious! Bit pricey but willing to pay for great food. Only improvement would be table service:)
I was pleasantly surprised by this small cafe. My Eggs Benny was delicious and cooked just perfectly. Both my coffees were delectable and it was lovely to sit in the courtyard on a sunny Autumn morning. My only small criticism is the state of their teaspoons. A little crazy to comment on such a minor detail, but twice we received very ancient spoons, that were tarnished and rusted and reminded me of visits to my Nanna. No way was I sticking that into my coffee.
Good coffee most of the time. Breakfast menu is ridiculously overpriced. 2x small eggs and 1 slice of toast, $13. Everything else is extra. Overpriced even if food was great, this food is average. Have your coffee and grab food from a nearby Cafe!
Burnt bacon and asked for runny eggs and twice they gave me solid.
2nd attempt was just put on a plate for us to put on our now cold toast.
Staff were rude about it saying we didnt say runny when we did twice.
Wont be going back

Felt so sick afterwards i vomited when i got home.
Ruined my bday breakfast.
Went there Saturday morning for brunch after reading the good reviews. I can only assume they were short staffed as the service was terrible. Cleared our own table from the people before after 20 minutes of sitting there.
Happy to wait for food when it is good but I’m sorry to say it was not. Overcooked bacon, overcooked hard poached eggs tasting only of vinegar, and a speck of hollandaise on the Eggs Benedict. A pool of oil on the plate of the egg and bacon roll.
So disappointed and really hoping it was a one off bad morning.
Very happy to discover this great place for lunch today. Good food and drink together with friendly service. Definitely worth a visit if you're looking for something special whilst visiting Windsor.
The cafe is amazing. The atmosphere is very well decorated you can choose to dine inside and out. The food id good and the coffee, excellent.
Great customer service.
It's a golden cafe.
This hidden gem has a nice, cosy atmosphere. The barista was very friendly and welcoming. There is limited seating, but does include tables both inside and out.
The coffee was very nice, but unfortunately they forgot to add sugar. There is only sugar substitute (equal) at the tables and when asking the waitress, they only have raw sugar. It would also have been nice to be offered a glass of water, even though they were a little busy. Overall a very enjoyable coffee with some room for improvement.
The stand out for me was the banana bread and that delicious honeycomb butter. The banana bread had a lovely texture and taste and was served warm. The honeycomb butter was a new experience for me, and was fantastic. This alone is worth a return visit!
One thing to note is the lack of an accessible entry, I actually assisted a lovely lady with the step out the front. Also the loft is not publically accessible, in case you were wondering.
A gem of a cafe in Windsor, will definitely return soon, excellent coffee, friendly service, great food. Prices are good, recommend the kids nuggets and chips combo with milkshake.
