George IV Inn

Ate here. Medium steak was over cooked, the chicken breast was under cooked.

Will not be back

The restaurant is consistently VERY GOOD. Staff are friendly and helpful. Good atmosphere and suitable for families too.

We have been to the George many times and not left any review.
Celebrating a farewell luncheon we were not disappointed. The food was great especially the Lamb pie which gives another venues 'Guinness pie' a run for its money. The staff were friendly and even brought our drinks to the table when tapping a new keg was required. Never had a dud experience and will continue to frequent this establishment.

A great place for lunch and dinner. Great atmosphere lovely staff.only one bad thing took over an hour to get my lunch after ordering it.

Beautiful part of the world, great pub I found. Little steep for a beer tho. $6.80 unless it's happy hour. Harsh

Moved into area, but have visited the George on many occasions. Just love the renovations and staff, however disappointed with very ordinary and overpriced meals and small servings. Not to mention the overpriced wines.

Great ambiance and a beautiful place to chill out and have a drink. My experience of the cuisine was not great, but willing to give it another go.

I have extreme dietary needs, and the staff and chef were incredibly helpful in advising me and preparing a meal for me. Would go back in the future.

Beautiful quaint old pub. Rooms are very basic but spotless. Common bathroom. It would be great if the owners put more than one small hook on the back of shower cubicle doors! Awesome food! Great atmosphere. We'd stay again for sure.

Fantastic atmosphere, friendly staff, great prices, amazing selection of drinks from the bar and food was quick and tasty. Great for family's, friend get togethers and events

Decent food. I had the schnitzel special for 15 bucks on certain days, it was quality stuff.

We enjoyed a lovely meal in the gorgeous George IV Inn. Staff were friendly, helpful and flexible, adjusting sauces to suit our tastes. We had a great table that suited our needs (space for 2 walkers that belonged to our elderly guests).

Had a great night celebrating my son's 21st birthday at the George IV Inn. The food was amazing and the staff were great. I would highly recommend the George for any function.

Restaurant staff are wonderful could not do enough. Food is beautiful and comes quick.
You have to try this place and you will keep going back like us

Staff taking orders and serving were working like robots! Great service, prompt and quick. Possibly suggest carrying longlfife skim, lactose free and soy milk - would have loved a coffee to finish off our meal. Thank you for your excellent food and service.

The service was excellent, very friendly. We did not have to wait long for our food. The food was delicious and there was plenty on the plate.

Lovely staff very friendly great food and sitting near the river. Lots of seating outside and inside.
