I needed a beard trim and a haircut so I booked an appointment with Mauricio. It was a very good decision. Not only did I feel comfortable the entire time there, I also got a haircut that made me feel awesome walking out of there.

I use to always get my hair cut there always great job by any of the staff but latley when u try to call them they don't answer the phone or reply to text messages about availability of appointments

Ive been going to Gents and Rascals for over 3 years and must say it is the best barber I have ever been too. The staff are always friendly and the service is absolutely perfect. Hayley is the GOAT. I Highly recommend this Barber

Refuse to go anywhere or to anyone else in Sydney other than Hayley in Gents and Rascals. Top class service and great craic. Used to travel 3 hours (each way) from regional work just to get an appointment with her.

After being a regular and loyal client for almost 6 years, sadly I will not be returning. In the time I have been going, there has been 3 price increases for their services. Today I received notification of yet another price increase and now I must draw the line as I refuse to pay $70.00 for a skin fade haircut and beard line-up (clippers only). Previously this would cost $50.00 which was pushing the boundaries as is but $70.00? No thanks. Whilst they provided exceptional service (hence my rating), I'm sorry but I will be taking my business elsewhere.

If you are otherwise a local (unlike myself) and price is not an issue, they are the best in Maroubra. I recommend you see Hayley or Suzi for a top-notch job!

Just moved from Brisbane to Sydney and was so paranoid about which barber to go in Maroubra area. But came across Gents & Rascals and my experience was amazing. Suzi was so lovely and did my hair the way I wanted.
Definitely recommended!

The best barber shop by a long way in the Eastern Suburbs by a long way! I used to go to several barbers, but I haven't looked elsewhere since taking a seat with Suzi. Her attention to detail is impeccable! The shop itself is vibrant with all staff incredibly warm, fun & exactly what a barber shop should be. Decent tunes while they cut your hair, too! Highly, highly recommend!

There's a reason this place is popular - great haircuts, great service. The team here are very skilled and professional.

Pretend to be nice people.
They don't want a conversation with you.
I was talking to one who cut my hair and he was rough as hell cutting my hair.
When finished and I left. They where laughing behind my back. I heard them laughing out loud.
Rude as hell.
I won't go there again.
I felt very insulted.

I've had cuts from almost all the staff and everyone consistently provide very high attention to detail in their cuts - both with clippers and scissors - and are always happy and super welcoming.

I started taking my 2yo son here when he was about 18months and couldn't be happier. Hayley always gives him a sharp looking cut with tremendous skill and care.
