49 Best ever gym with a good vibe.
But I'd say 40% of the machines are broken or faulty. They need to fix it man.
I am a member since past 8 years. All personal trainers are great and there are heaps of group classes to choose from.
The manager Nathan is very good. I had an incident and he was very pro active in resolving the matter.
I just love the classes at this gym; worth every penny and time spent here. I can't get enough of the Zumba classes especially and my favourite of course is Rudi's 3 times a week class! I just love Rudi's high energy and excellent dance Latino style which is so sexy and such a fabulous work out that one energises from it and comes away wanting more from it. Tailored to any age and is so much fun too. Ever since I started here in Jan, I have lost weight and increased my strength and fitness just through dancing with Rudi, Tabita and Anna too. Highly recommended a gym; reasonably priced and one can get into a class without having to pre book like done in other gyms! I am giving this a 5 star review but wished there was a higher rating to add to it! Just love it.

I love the group classes which has Pilates, yoga, Bollywood dance and more.
The gym membership is very cheap and it is worth its price.
The only negative thing I can say is the equipments are decent but look outdated in comparison with gyms like world gym popping up around sydney.
This is for early mornings: lots of machines which are well maintained. Staff answer questions. Showers and toilets are cleaned regularly.
One of the reception girls were really rude was disappointed as she started yelling at me for no reason.
Another receptionist, a young fellow, Steven was amazing and nice, he was kind and helped me as it was my first time at the gym he had given me really good advice. Definitely recommend you speak to him as the other 2 workers are lazy and have a play at work all day.

The gym has all the equipment you need to do a work out and staff are fine but, the place is tired. Some equipment missing/unserviceable.
Sauna is in really bad repair and would be lucky to break 60 degrees and the steam room routinely is out of order. Both are just completely not open on Sundays or external to staffing hours.
The male change rooms are are in bad repair along with the showers (broken lockers/shower heads/no soap/tired/dirty).
The gym floor hasn't had a good clean in a long time is quite a bit of chicks hair all over the ground. It is a bit gross to get down do a something on your back or maybe even push ups to then have to remove hair.
The child minding is always full and very hard to book kids in unless you have a very regular schedule. Booking positions are released 1 week prior but, fill up quick. Basically impossible if you have an irregular schedule. $5 per child for 1 hour. So, if you go to the gym 5 times a week it is $20 for your membership and $25 per week of child minding - $45 per week.
Free trial isn't free because you have to buy a entry fob for $40 which is non-refundable.
Overall it is not diabolically terrible but, it's not great.
I have been a member of this gym for almost 8 years and have decided to cancel my membership.
You CAN'T complain about the service.because there isn't ANY.
Gym culture starts at management. Every time a customer walkes in or out, counter staff hides themselves behind the computer screens like a Pigeon. They donot want to face a customer at all.
Its Been several months since Robert left, management/professionalism went down the hill.
If you are a FOREIGNER DONT GO THERE.
They will make faces and make fun of you.
Physiotherapist and trainers are walking aroud like they own the place and reserves multiple equipment/ Machines for hours which you can not access untill they finish. Even they are doin their routine exercise.
I've trained in gyms statewide and cities of Australia - but never before have I felt so unwanted and I rewarded for my money as I do in this gym
Hope Owner (Steve) gets this message and act on this.
Good space, clean machines, fans are available to turn on, peak time around 6-8 PM so you won't get any work done around that time and it's super crowded. Least crowded time during the day is 2-3 PM. I say this based on personal experience. I trained with Stephen for 10 weeks and it was a pleasant experience, and he helped put me in the right direction to reach my goals.
Thank you so much for having me, Genesis! I’ve so enjoyed my time being a member for the past 6 weeks while I’ve been living in Parramatta. Such a great environment here. I felt welcomed and part of the family right away! There is something for everyone here. Personally I loved the crèche and the les mills classes, special mentions to the ladies who do the child minding Ella, Kenzie and May for taking excellent care of my daughter, such an asset to have this service so us mums can have our “me time”. And the staff who take the classes, especially Michael who has such a great, uplifting energy and caters so well to first timers like me! The reception staff are also so friendly and there is plenty of equipment even when it’s busy, and the equipment is modern and always clean. Thank you all so much. If we end up moving over to Parramatta, I will absolutely be signing up long term ️
Hey guys, don't be so rude and hold an attitude. Listen to what your customers are ask ing for. Take that chip of your shoulders. Extremely upset when you can't simply find nice people to talk to and especially be honest with there customer's and there membership.
If you are going to sign a contract with this gym please be well aware of all the HIDDEN charges. They don't explain you all those conditions when signing up. I initially signed up for a 6 months contract and as the staff explained my contract will be automatically ceased after that. But turns out that's not the case. Even after completing the period specified in the contract you will be asked to pay for an extra month as a 30 day notice which is really disappointing! Would never return!
Good gym. Air con very erratic. Upstairs can be really smelly when a/c is off. Lots of aerobic equipment that works - nothing out of order! Not ultra modern but does have duplicate and triplicate of the same equipment. No waiting during busy times.
If you need to begin your fitness journey somewhere but feel uncertain.let me assure you this is the right place to start. Perfect location great and helpful staff and a good variety of people all in different stages of their fitness journey. 5 stars
I was fortunate to attend Genesis Parramatta whilst my husband and I lived in Sydney for a work contract. I was very sad to leave the club when we returned to Brisbane. The staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly and the class timetable is great. I loved my class instructors and the child minding seemed very popular and appreciated.
I absolutely love this gym as it has a crèche which is what I was looking for plus all kinds of different classes like Zumba, pilate, body pump and body attack. Happy with the staff members and the facilities provided.
I used to go here before lockdown and the staff are very friendly and helpful. They answer all my questions about nutrition and stuff. Great variety of machines too.
Inexperienced Reception Staff needs to understand how business works Otherwise it will lead to Permanent Business Closure!
On the first hand their staff made a mistake by accepting us for 1 month Groupon membership which they shouldn't have given if we had a trial before. Hence we confirmed before coming to the gym.
We were also given access keys and also trained on first day.
Next day another Staff member, instead of admitting their mistake he refused us entry and asked to discuss monthly membership! Wow. Have been to so many gyms before, never experienced such a service. Not to mention he was so Rude!
Paying for one month was not an issue. However the way, the guy at the reception handled the whole thing, was horrible and humiliating. Will not recommend this gym to anyone.
We were members in a reputed Gym from Past 5 years and could be your potential customers. Wont be surprised how many customers you are going to loose if you dont learn customer handling. As you are the face of the Gym!
Looks like money is the only thing that matters to them.

But now when you have mentioned about deal. Here you go.
The condition was not mentioned on the deal. It was visible only after it was purchased. That's why before coming to the gym, we called and confirmed the same from your staff. We were told that it's alright and were registered & given access keys
More importantly, the way your staff member (Stefan) talked today was horrible. You can't go on treating people like this. Like mentioned before, would have ignored the whole thing (though it was your staff's error) & bought one month's membership. But the way we were humiliated and not allowed to workout, it showed how much the gym staff actually cares about people. Happy to pay more somewhere else than support a business like this
I have never been a fan of gyms or exercise. But since I joined this gym after lockdown, I have lost 7kg. And it's all because of the zumba classes. Tabitha (tabz) is an amazing instructor and keeps every class fresh and exciting and before you know it, the hour is finished you're dripping in sweat and you wish it wasn't over. I don't miss a single class, that's how much I enjoy it. Thank you Tabz for making weight loss fun.
