GEM Windows & Doors Showroom, Mulgrave reviews
8Great service! Amira has really helped with sizing and has been fantastic from the moment we placed our order
I’ve been ordering all my windows & doors from gem for 5 years. Fantastic Company, Ally is an exceptional rep, gets it right every time
Excellent service from Amira very helpful! Have purchased a few windows from this company and have always been very happy with the product will always recommend gem windows thankyou so much
I am very impressed with the service and product qualoty at GEM Windows. Amira's customer service is outstanding, I recommend dealing with her.
The service that was provided by Amira was great, she was very knowledgeable about her product and she helped me to get the correct measurements when I was replacing my dinning room window.
The delivery time was on time as Amira promised.
100% if I need to replace any windows or doors I'll use Kingswood showroom
Defective product, poor delivery and a gaslighting company.
First, the sliding door isnt square. The fixed panel has a gap at the top and no gap at the bottom (photo). I let GEM know on the day about this and they said conclusively said i broke it. I dont know how i couldve done that but they know i cant do anything about it. I asked how could they know for sure. They said because there was no record of damage.
Secondly, the delivery driver just left the door leaning on a massive angle on the side of the house (photo) and left without letting me know. They didnt call me, ring my door bell - nothing. Just quickly sneaked onto the property, left a 3.6m glass door outside in the rain. Ive had deliveries from 5 different suppliers during this project and every single driver had the courtesy to call me except for GEM.
There is zero flexibility in terms of delivering date. If you cant receive it on the very day they want, you’re gonna have to wait 3 weeks until their next delivery date and pay $500 in storage fees.
There is no wrapping or packaging on the sliding door. Rain, dirt and damage dont matter after they deliver because the risk passes to you.
There is no instruction manual or manufacturer guideline. Youre on your own.
For a massive purchase of such a fragile item, i expected more than simply dumping an out of square sliding door on my concrete driveway and not letting me know.
These are all consistent behaviours of a company that doesnt care whether they deliver a good product or if their customers can use their products.
The only good thing about them is their price (Amira in sales was good). But not so good because mine isnt even square.
I am a regional trading and have connections with my suppliers. I expect good service from them. I recently was in Sydney doing some family renovations and was fortunate to ring GEM for window advice. I was very pleased to be connected with a lady who was the trilogy of helpfulness. Polite, informative and really pleasant to connect with. I made my order with her. So thank you AMIRA
