GEM Car Sound & Auto Electrics

Sound advice (pardon the pun lol) when I called them recently. Had a system fitted to a car years back too.

Great service, and when I picked up my car, they explained how to use the new system and how to connect it with my phone.

Rung them up asking for advice on setting up a subwoofer, asked a few questions, was cutting me off and being rather rude and sarcastic. He ended up hanging up on me, cutting me off from asking any other questions. Was not professional at all. Actually quite disappointed as I got referenced here from a friend. Will not be going there in future: (

Apart from the brilliant job you do, I am so so happy with my new sound system. It’s going to take some time to fully understand this unit, but thank you very much. Gr8 people. Due 2 covid had 2 wait a while 4 my purchasing, but i was kept up 2date regularly and when it all arrived did a fantastic job. Very friendly and would recommend if u want gd service please deal with these people. Glen and Robin, thank u.

Just rang to see whether these guys could offer suggestions around getting a dash cam installed but was fobbed off very early because I'd purchased the unit elsewhere. The reality was that I would have been quite OK with returning it at point of purchase and seeing what they had because my wife wanted front and rear cameras. But this woman wasn't listening. Asked if the installer could call me back to discuss but "he's very busy, etc, etc". The thing is, I've been a previous customer and have spent significant dollars here in the past. What a shallow view they have in the current market. Me? Never to return. Just disgraceful customer service for mine. Rang another local young fella - fantastic - no issues - prefer you buy what you want and happy to install the unit. " Thanks mate! Good riddance GEM.

Great customer service at Gem Auto Electrical. Had a Kenwood car audio fitted 2 years ago and needed firmware updating plus issues with my new phone connecting.
Boys happily sorted out the issues for me with no problems.

Very friendly service and advice. There is a reason they are still in business after 55 years - they know their stuff, they are honest and their customers are happy with their work and spread the word.

There was only about10 or 12 in the Bistro and it was so noisy we all had trouble hearing and my husband didn't like his meal
