Garlo's Pies

The pies have a strange taste and not in a good way, awful, sickly, I now don't feel well at all. I was suspicious of what it would taste like when I saw the colour of the mince, the inside is grey and minced up to within an inches of it's life I don't think it was even meat. Never again. GROSS

Bought 2 steak pies from woolies.omg they were awful, had the weirdest taste, the filling is just disgusting, $9 down the drain!

So disappointed with this product. No meat, all bread crumbs and disgusting flavour. You should ashamed to call it food.

Tried the curry beef pie today and mini sausage rolls from coles.
Put them in the oven and they tasted great

What a waste of money for these pies i got them at my local coles I cooked them the pastry was awful the filling inside I would not give to my dog horrible pies. Never buy Garlos again. I had beef and mushroom left a very bad after taste. Yuck
MRS MAC'S for a freezer pie is the BEST.

Only just had them and loved them i had the party pies and sausage rolls as well as a butter chicken couldn't fault them.

Bought the beef curry pie from Coles. By far the best curry pie I have had. I know good curry, I have been married to an Indian lady for 30 years.

If a paying customer says the staff were rude, then writes feedback to say so- which the business could’ve apologised for yet chose to childishly and unprofessionally ignore and stonewall that customer, and cherry-picks the reviews it wants to deal with, then my money is on the customer telling the truth.
There’s no place in society for bogan bigot companies- vote with your feet and give your money to their competitors.

The instructions for microwave says 5 minutes on high. Needless to say the sausage roll was inedible and had to be thrown out.

Between myself and my husband we love all of the Garlo's pies and sausage. Proper chicken and beef (no gristle) one thing is, please bring back the Chili con carne. Search the shelves everytime I frequent a supermarket

Price wise they're up there. $5 each at Coles.
The quality is very good imo, but seem to be lacking in flavour.
The chicken breast for example is tasteless.
I'd love to love them but I can't.

Never had a bad pie or sausage roll. Always a crowd pleaser and always an empty tray! Absolutely a fantastic product.

Quality has changed found pastry hard and uneatable was no supply in Coles and believe it is better they do stock garlo, s again

First found a Garlos pies at Maccas (ACT) a few years ago. Found them again at Coles/Woolworths in the Southern Highlands. Prefer Curry style and they are excellent. Don't listen to the bad reviews. Thanks Garlos.

Got these from Coles Haymarket the other day.
About to cook (same day) lucky I spotted mould. No more Garlo’s for me

My memory says that these pies were okay when I first started getting them from just up the road from me in Kingsgrove, I bought some the other day from Woolies and they were disgusting. The pastry tasted like flour water and nothing else and the filling was worse than Pal.

Bought your Coles Pies off the shelf, worst pies I've ever tasted, don't know what meat you use but it tastes like someone fell in the grinder, I usually get Villi's pies but thought I'd give your pies a go.
Bad mistake I'll never buy your pies again.

Had a satay chicken pie from Coles and it was ghastly. Not sure if you have any outlets left other than supermarkets but if you do they are on borrowed time.

Fricking best pie I have ever eaten. I don’t eat pies that often, but saw the beef & mushroom pie in Coles. Thought I’d give it a try! OMG! Yum! Definitely on my weekly shopping list now. So happy that I could grab them at Coles (Sydney)

Bought a Chunky Steak Pie. F3-10: 12 Batch: B74. Well greatly dissatisfied. One piece of grissle, plenty of thick gravy no "Chunky Steak" Motto say's " Were thin on pastry, were BIG on meat! " guess this pie was the last out of the batch. One Star cause the gravy tasted good otherwise zero.
