Can recommend both, the physical store and the online shop. I recently ordered several games from them. The order was process and delivered quickly without any problems. The games arrived in excellent condition. Will order from them again and also visit the Pitt Street store when I‘m back in Sydney

Quite expensive and the staff member who manned the counter was rude. They refused to price match local Sydney stores so you are 90% better off shopping else. However, their selection of games was very good!

Visit their Sydney store on a weekend 2 weeks ago to buy one item because I don't wanna pay $10.95 shipping. The item that I want costs $19.95. As I browse through the store, I cannot find what I was looking for. I got my phone from my wallet, went to their website and approached the guy at the counter and showed him the item that I want. The guy checked his computer and told me that they didn't have the item in the store but they have it in their warehouse and can get it in store in 2 to 3 days. Asked me if I can come back in a few days in store if I wanna get it. Told him I can only come back on a weekend coz I'm working on weekdays. He told me he can put it aside for me for the weekend. Went there last weekend to buy it, got surprised that the item price tag is now $35 compared to $19.95 on their website. Had a word with the guy, asked him what's goin on that's he's just wasting my time and its not fair. Drive 40 minutes to get there, rain was pissin all day. Guy apologize and told me something like the warehouse has a different owner. I was spewin but calm, I really didn't understand what's his explanation was. $19.95 become $35 so even if you add a $10.95 shipping it only costs $31 which is still cheaper. If the guy tells me that its gonna cost $35 for me to buy it instore then I wouldn't have bothered.
Beware of this store. They are not even cheaper compare to other stores with the same stocks on most of their items. This review is for the Sydney store only.

What a spot! Not often I’ll jump online to sing praise of someone or somewhere but games paradise and Adam today definitely made me feel it was called for, I had a great experience with the service and the stock they carry is really impressive. I much prefer shopping brick and mortar so it’s really nice that the store is the store and I wasn’t directed to an online store to find or buy what I want
No doubt or question I’m happy with the experience and staff will be seeing me plenty more

Parking wasn’t an issue as we went on a Sunday & there were street parking available around.

Store isn't always open at the posted times. Parking is impossible, which combined with the fact you won't know if they'll actually be open makes buying from here stressful. That said if you need a game same day, this is the best place to go. Staff are friendly, and knowledgeable. Bit pricey compared to online but that's what you pay for same-day convenience

After placing an online order for an in stock item, nearly two weeks later I was told it was in fact not in stock, with a short email and boiler plate apology. The two day delivery or we contact you is clearly a load of tripe, and then they blamed it on the Australia Day long weekend, despite that occuring a full week after my order had been placed. Avoid at all costs.

If you have the problem of too much money and time, this store will solve both your problems in one hit!

A bit more expensive than online but that's to be understood.

Also they make up for it with real knowhow, pretty good to great service, a customer rewards program and a huge amount of stock.

I had a great time shopping for board games here. Adam helped us a lot by explaining different titles and offering suggestions based on our interests. The selection was wide enough that I was able to choose between several expansion packs that I wanted.

I live abroad on the other end of the globe (Israel). I pre-ordered a jigsaw puzzle available only in Australia. Games Paradise were cummunicative all along and gave me a precise schedule as to when it was due to be shipped, despite the Covid mess. Since they don't ship abroad, I used an Australian shipping company which costed me a small fortune and it took 5 weeks to reach me. When the jigsaw puzzle finally arrived, two pieces were missing - what a great disappointment. Definitely not Games Paradise fault though, they were just the sellers. Nevertheless, they contacted the Canadian manufacturer for me, nagging for weeks that he send me the 2 missing pieces in an envelope, clearly the simplest solution. Seven weeks later, when the manufacturer failed to send, Games Paradise took the effort and the considerable expenses and sent me the whole jigsaw puzzle again, this time directly to Israel. All this saga lasted many months, but was carried out in the most polite, sincere and even friendly manner. Games Paradise went out of the way to give me a perfect service, even though I live on another continent and therefore not very likely to be a returning customer. I highly recommend them, with all my heart, for their excellent and exceptional service.

Very pleased with our purchase at this store. The service from Adam was friendly and the advise given very helpful. He was happy to help and wanted us to leave with the most suitable game for our family. They were not disappointed
