Heaven on earth! Everything is amazing, from the spa treatments which are the best I have ever had, to the delicious and world-class food, the friendly staff, beautiful landscape and personalised daily schedule. My husband and I left here so calm and relaxed and cannot wait to come back!

This was my first time at Gaia the moment I arrived I felt welcomed. Everyone were kind and caring.the food was amazing I went to a cooking class which was great. I had spa treatments I didn’t want to get up.the only thing was that it’s very hilly in saying that the staff have a buggy and will pick you up and take you where you want go and you back so I was so grateful for that thank you to everyone at Gaia janette acker

I always adore visiting Gaia, as I feel relaxed from the moment I arrive. The food is so delicious that I look forward to every meal. The Spa treatments are fabulous and the staff are very professional. Gregg does a marvelous job of making you feel very welcome and genuinely cares that you enjoy your stay as much as possible. I highly recommend Gaia.

I had a wonderful two night stay at Gaia after travelling from Melbourne. I had high expectations, but my stay exceeded my expectations. The staff are wonderful, the environment is stunning (don’t worry if it’s raining - it makes it even more beautiful) and the food was consistently incredible (who knew that a carrot desert could be a thing? !). My spa treatments have given me such relief from a lingering frozen shoulder, and there was a yoga teacher who was the real deal. Thank you for an incredible stay. Yes, it is absolutely worth the money.

My experience at Gaia was exceptional. From the moment I arrived I was welcomed with the most beautiful Mediterranean lunch situated within the stays greenery and overlooking the picturesque hinterland. I felt completely at ease and relaxed with no shortage of activities and spa treatments available. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. I left feeling so rejuvenated and relaxed I cannot wait to return back to Gaia to share this experience with my loved ones. Thank you Greg Crave for your hospitality along with your team. There are not enough words! The service is exceptional. Staff are welcoming. The atmosphere is so peaceful. The view is extraordinary. Everyone should make this an experience at least once in their life. Transformative and healing.

I don't usually write reviews but the experience at Gaia was too good not to share. From the point of being picked up from the airport to being dropped back off at the airport, the experience was amazing! Everyone we met was super friendly, attentive, caring, and welcoming and gave off a nice relaxing vibe. The inclusive meals were also incredibly delicious whilst being nutritious at the same time. We enjoyed the idea that every meal was different each day which gave an element of surprise. I also booked in the shirodhara treatment, dreamtime travel, deep tissue and facial treatment at the day spa throughout the stay. Every single treatment was so special and definitely helped me achieve the calm and peace I was hoping for whilst getting nurtured by each of the therapists. Special shout out to Simone who gave the best deep tissue massage I have ever experienced. I also liked that Simone and Nicolette were very attentive of the injuries I got from falling off a bike prior to their treatments. They made the treatments still feel whole and perfect whilst avoiding the injuries. The facilities were also so luxurious and we had so much fun using them. The views from the retreat are incredible and makes you feel like you're not in NSW anymore. This short getaway was exactly what I needed to feel restored in both my mind and body. Truly a 5 star experience if not better! I'll definitely be coming back!

One of the best spa experiences I've had.

I've visited the day spa last week and left completely relaxed abd recharged. Amazing treatment, irreproachable facilities and great location.
I'd recommend staying for lunch if you're a day spa guest, the food was amazing, the restaurant terrace offers greats views, and you'll want to stick around to enjoy the spa for the day.
Will definitely give the retreat package a go after experiencing the spa.

A beautiful resort ideal for relaxation and revitalising the spirit. Stayed in the Lantana room which was exquisite. Great food and service. Would definitely visit again.

The perfect place to relax and unwind with stunning views, beautiful grounds and the best massages and detox options. I can imagine this is what Bali is like without the beaches. ;) A1

Gaia Retreat & Spa is nestled in the lush green hinterland of Brooklet, NSW, near Byron Bay. The ambience and beautiful hilltop views from the property, create peace & tranquillity. Sounds & sights of nature include beautiful birds, kangaroos, and 4 resident donkeys.
Food is exquisitely presented & fresh, mostly from the expansive organic gardens of vegetables, herbs & fruit. All meals are served by gentle, courteous staff who attend to individual dietary needs. Dining and comfy lounge seating are in Kakura House, with beautiful views across the Valley.
Gaia accommodation is diverse, from hilltop villas to self contained rooms with balconies, all serviced daily.
Day Spa treatments include massage, invigorating skin polish, hair & facial treatments & perfect pedicures. Gaia also includes a pool, sauna room & outside spa bath.

Your time at Gaia can be as active or relaxing as you choose. Views and sunsets from Samira Lookout, or from one of the relaxing day beds, are beautiful.

It is like being given a big warm beautiful hug from the moment you are picked up at the airport to the time you are dropped off again. It is a place of nurturing and healing where you can just focus on you. Staff 10 out of 10, although I don't like that word - staff - they were like our friends and how they remembered our names every day was a revelation to me, rooms 10 out of 10, treatments 10 out of 10, activities 10 out of 10. The environment and surrounds 10 out of 10. The food, well if I could be so bold as to say 20 out of 10. Out of this world, chef Dan is a rock-star genius. Roland made noises of bliss every time he tried a meal and with all the meals we had, there was not one that didn't get this response. Thank you for creating such a wonderful place and we can't wait till we get back!
