When recruiters have a bunch of 5 star reviews from people who only leave one review. They are fake reviews. Matthew walker advertises externally on seek for roles that you'll tick the boxes for but he will block you to build his database up.

Pointless. Go direct.

There are heaps of other people on here with a similar experience. They are flooding linkedin and seek with ads for non genuine roles to make profit and waste your time.

Received a bunch of very bizarre questions around personal private information from a recruiter which I have never ever been asked by any other recruiters out there. Be cautious!

I was called in for an interview with Kathryn D.from the Sydney office regarding a role advertised through Seek. Kathryn advised after meeting with her that everything was fantastic and would send my CV to the company as there was great synergy with my skills and what the company required.

I never heard from her for 2 weeks despite repeatedly calling and emailing Kathyrn with no success. I decided to apply directly with the company since she told me who it was because I had a feeling she wasn't being fair hence not answering my calls or returning emails.

One week later I was called in for an interview with the company and so I emailed Kathryn thanking her for organising the meeting. The next minute I get a furious phone call from her saying she didn't even send my resume to the company. I realised that she didn't even bother doing anything of which I had suspected and that I had totally forgotten I applied directly to the company. Kathryn tells me I have to write an email directly to her saying she told me to apply to the company directly so she can reserve her commission.

After my successful meeting with the company I was later advised directly from the company that it came down to myself and someone else and unfortunately I didn't win the job.

FutureYou needs to adopt a more fair and equal strategy when hiring recruiters in order to prevent such events from occurring. I highly recommend the Directors train the existing employee.

I will never recommend FutureYou to my employers or network and I feel sorry for all the hard working citizens who weren't given a fair go due to ones incompetence.
