Frenchs Forest Motors

As someone who works in the industry, I've been dealing with this business for many years. I have found them o be extremely professional, as well as very courteous. Ignore the bad reviews by a few narrow minded people who don't understand what's involved with a pink slip check. Things like worn pedal pads can be extremely dangerous, and as such, should not be passed for rego. They may seem like insignificant items, but they can & do cause big problems. Get your facts straight before badmouthing someone.

Really thorough mechanics, will pick up on the smallest details. Makes it quite difficult to get a pink slip there though!

I recommend nobody go there to get ripped off.

I went to this people because my car overheated, I work nearby they said it could be thermostat and might cost 500 or could be 1000 or more and I want to take my car they said I have to pay 30$ just because they looked at it and I took it to other mechanic it only coast me 325$

GO ACROSS THE ROAD TO BRIDGESTONE MECHANICS. THEY CHARGED ME $80 FOR A BELT REPLACEMENT.

Always be wary of a "fast' talker! He is full of it! AND just LOVES to keep finding things wrong with your car! RUN A MILE! They are so dodgey it s not even funny!

I have been going to frenchs forest motor for well over 5years now and I have to say that I always get excellent service. Mechanical was great! Friendly, Trust-worthy, honest staff. They took me through all that needs to be fixed on my car and explained what and where the problems are

Poor service, Owner didnt want to know because the work was done by other REPCO agent and would not honour the warranty. I would never use this place again. Con artists.

This guy is a nightmare - takes forever to get anything done - talks incessantly about absolute rubbish and wastes your time.

A simple inspection took over an hour and half - he only had two customers at the time and both just needed inspection forms filled out. Go to another place and you are in and out in less than 20 minutes.

Exasperating to deal with!

Moved into the local area about 2 years ago and went to Frenchs Forest motors for a bit of advice as was close to home, since then taken 3 of my cars back regularly. They are very knowledgeable and take the time to explain any problems and options for a fix. Always happy to recommend a good mechanic when you find one.

This guy is an ABSOULUTE THIEF! DO NOT GO THERE wastes all your time and tries to drum up more work for his team. Total disgrace to the industry people like this give the trade a dirty name and he should be ashamed

Wish I'd done my homework and read the reviews before taking my car for a pink slip. Please avoid as your car will get failed for the smallest most insignificant blemish. After my car failed, I took it to 4 different garages for independent checks and none of them would fail my car and couldn't believe what it had been failed for. I ended up spending $1000+ to get my car repaired for something that didn't even need doing! RUN A MILE as Lucy said!

Just went down to get my pink slip. All good with the car except for a very minor defect - the break pedal pad was a tiny bit worn and they said they would have to fail it and that I'd needed to go Honda for a new one. So no car to drive for Sunday. I understand car safety is very important but for goodness sake.this defect was so minor. DON'T GO HERE! I went to another place in Forestville and got a pink slip no problems.

I bought an 8 years old used car and have been here for maintnance for almost 10 years. Willy takes close care. The first time I met him, he had explained more than 40mins about my car conditions and why some of parts should be changed. Now I just believe him and agree to his opinions. He always replace consumables before problems occur. Safety is priority. I am very satisfied. It feels like brand new. I recently moved to near Blacktown but I still visit this place. I think I can drive this car another 10 more years if he can help. Reliable!

DONT GO HERE! I wish I had read all of the reviews before going here. I went for a pink slip - they said there was a number of things wrong so they didn't pass it. They didn't explain anything just took my money and that was it. I then went straight to another mechanic so that I could get everything fixed in time for my rego. The second mechanic told me that there was absolutely nothing wrong with my car and that the list of things Frenchs Forest Motors said I needed to fix would have costed around $2000. I then had to go through a whole hoohah with the RTA since the Frenchs Forest Motors had noted all the issues against my car. I would give this place no stars.
