Promised delivery a few days after 30 Nov now pushed back to Jan 2024 and won't give a refund - in fact reached out to the Caringbah store 3 times with a promise of Manager will call back - of course no call back. I just want my money back for non fulfilment of contacted promises. Arrogant business with no regard for customer.

Today I was served by a sales person named Reef, he was such a polite and kind and helpful sales person and I highly recommend being served by him. Thanks Reef! Great help

Purchased two rugs from freedom Caringbah. Maria was so helpful, and had a lot of knowledge about their product and design.
All the staff at freedom Caringbah were so welcoming I would highly recommend it

We went in today on a whim, looking for an outdoor setting. We had the help of Annie at the Caringbah store and she immediately helped us to find the product we saw online. She helped us imagine what it would look like in our home space and we played musical outdoor living space with the furniture. Her assistance and time was appreciated and we happily bought all our outdoor furniture with her. She made this process very easy and she was a pleasure to deal with.

Thought we would get a quote on a kitchen renovation here. Started Quite well in-store and we booked in a visit.
The manager called to confirm the appointment and threw in "We're featured on The Block" (Red Flag) The young man arrived, measured our kitchen, talked us through our plans and popped details into his computer.

Once he said sign up now to lock it in we were not convinced it's what we wanted (we got burned by Kinsman on this very discount strategy)

He immediately became passive aggressive.

Can we get the quote, No you can write down the prices now.

Can we see the plan, No you can not have this until you pay.

This confirmed Freedom was not getting our business.

Won't ever step foot in their store again either!

I have bought many items from Freedom Caringbah over the years and have always been impressed with the team and store. Freedom furniture looks great and has lasted me well (I've had some items for 6+ years, and going strong). After noticing a small fault in a recent purchase, the team were super quick to organise a replacement for me. I'll continue being a loyal customer here for sure.

What a lousy retailer! Bought items online in Sep, expected click and collect time 1 week. Months gone past, still keep calling the Caringbah showroom to find out what happened to my order. I don’t think I have a chance to get a refund, as their phone system is always on hold music mode even after they close the showroom…?

Terrible customer service. We purchased an item at Freedom Moore Park and upon arriving home we realised we had been given the wrong colour of the item. We called our local store, Caringbah, to ask if we could return and exchange the colour, only to be told that it was not possible and that we needed to call Moore Park and arrange the exchange with them. The reason given was that Caringbah “would then have mismatching items and would not know what to do with them”. Essentially, we were told that this is our problem and Caringbah were completely unwilling to assist us. Furthermore, Caringbah told us to contact Moore Park and that Moore Park would send a driver out with the new item
and collect the incorrect item, to “save us driving back there”. We were skeptical, so we asked Moore Park and they do not offer this service. Disgraceful customer service
from Caringbah manager, Kita, and we will not be shopping here in the future.

If you want to buy furniture from this store, please be sure to read my review, the table I bought around September 10, because the reception of the warehouse was very rude and I applied for a refund, I contacted the staff of freedom caringbah (Michael), he told me that I could refund, but when I asked again three days later, he told me to charge a 20% fee, I could only accept their request, and after a week I asked freedom caringbah again, they told me Already refunded and sent me an invoice, if i don't receive a refund can only contact the payment method, till today (25 october) i still haven't received a refund and they refuse to serve me

We received the Tilda Buffet few weeks ago. The product was damaged during manufacturing. It has been 4 weeks and still no refund and no one has come to pick up this product. I am really disappointed with their lack of communication and customer service. No one can help us over the phone, they keep saying "make a claim online" and it takes up to 5-10 days for someone to reply back. I am extremely frustrated with our experience with Freedom.

I purchased a Palm Beach Collection wick trimmer on 22/6/22. The item had no price on it so I asked the assistant to check the price for me, she advised that it was a clearance item and the price was $14.97. I purchased the item, trusting that the assistant knew what she was doing! I was also advised that I couldn't return as it was a clearance item.
As I was browsing the internet that afternoon, the same wick trimmer kept coming up in ads from Freedom Furniture for $11.50, discounted from$12.95.
I sent an email to Freedom Help Centre explaining that I was overcharged for this product as the assistant had put it through as an Ecoya brand wick trimmer. I was sent an automated reply from 'Customer Experience Team' saying they'd be in touch soon. After a month, I'm still waiting for a response. I know it isn't a huge amount but this just reflects the value Freedom places on their customers, very disappointing!

Bad management, incompetent staff and coupled with incapable systems is the perfect combination for one of the worst retail experiences.

Store manager Keetah is a staunch to customers, takes zero accountability for Freedoms operational issues and then encourages other customers in the store to get involved and confrontational. An absolute disgusting display of service.

An ok range but a ridiculous delivery timeframe - it’s likely to go out of fashion by the time it arrives (5 months delivery on our items!). Got another couch from Nick Scali with half the delivery time.

On top of this expect no one to reply to your emails, and extra delays (months) to be added to the expected delivery time. You’re waiting for made in China too.

And NEVER use the live chat. If you phone locks or you move away from the chat in any way, it disconnects you and you have to go into the cue and start all over again.

0 stars if possible. I went in to freedom in February to buy couches was told that it would take 4-6 Weeks to deliver, which is a reasonable timeframe. Paid for the couches. When I got home I realised that on the receipt it said 6-8 weeks delivery which I was not informed of when I was paying. A couple weeks go by and I receive an email to say my couches will arrive in early May. I went in- store to ask why they did not warn my about the 6-8 weeks delivery time that changed from 4-6 weeks. Lauren the "manager" extremely rude and has absolutely no costumer respect says that the couches are only a week away and if i wanted to cancel i would have to lose 20% of what I had already paid. This lady refused to even hear my opinion and told me she would not continue to talk to me, this lady does not have at all any "manager" skills. I later receive an email end of April saying that the couches will arrive in June, I visited the store on a Wednesday and demanded a complete refund It was absolutely ridiculous that I had to wait until June for my couches. Another manager attended me this time and begged me to give her 24- 48 hours to find out what is happening to the couches. I return on the Friday of the same week at midday and this same lady says " the day has not ended come back at the end of the day". I return that same day at the end of the day and apparently one of the couches "container got lost" and she gave me the option to wait until they find it or a refund. I obviously wanted a refund and I paid in cash when I placed the order but this lady refused to give me in cash because apparently they did not have $800 which is of course a lie, who would believe that a big store like freedom would not make $800 in a day and so she said the only option was eftpos.

Please do not buy anything from here If i had seen all the reviews before i would've never ordered from them absolutely headache. I was lied, treated awful by Lauren the "manager", refused all my costumer rights. I have read many reviews and i insist you keep insisting them until you get what you want. I also tired contacting the costumer service email NO HELP! Overall freedom is not trustworthy

Lovely items here and friendly staff. I think the quality of the products is very good for the price!

Ordered an item in January, was told delivery in early April. Was delayed to early May, and then once again to late May. Was told I could get a cash refund if there is more than one delay. Rang store to arrange the refund, was told I would receive a call back. No one called back. Tried calling again, no one picked up. Still waiting for a resolution.
Unfortunately, very disappointing customer service. They don't seem to care. Ombudsman might be the next stage if they just simply ignore customers. Purchase your items elsewhere if you can. Or if you can, from another retailer.

Waited 5 weeks for $1.5k order that was in stock at the distribution center because of an error with their system. Called multiple times to follow up and was told the DC would contact me and they never did. Only once the manager took over was my order tracked and delivery arranged promptly. Received the second part of my order which was at the Penrith store and it has now come in with a a large crack to the frame of the sofa. Disappointed is an understatement especially considering I have paid shipping twice due to the two different pick up locations. Just want my $3k furniture delivered in time and intact…
