10If I could give a zero I would. Took a small fixing the (he had done the original job) and I was happy to pay for the new work. Told 2 weeks. No problems with that. 6 weeks later still nothing. He sent a message to say he hadn't got to it because he was at his Son's wedding. Must be nice to choose who you give good service to. Presumably those east of the location.
Pete is the best in the business, always exceptional work and super friendly and approachable. Wouldn’t go anywhere else for framing.
Cannot rate their service higher!
I Put 5 small Aboriginal paintings for framing in early Jan 2022 and were told it would be 3 weeks, 5 phone calls and 4 months later they were still not done. I picked them up unframed today 7 May!
After looking at multiple reviews, it appears this place frequently provides the wrong frame. I had multiple works requested to be framed, and all 3 were framed with the wrong frame.
On top of this, the works within the frames WERE NOT EVEN straightened when the frame was put on the outside. As a result, there are wrinkle marks on all the works within the frame.
Absolutely lost for words on the poor quality of this place.
If I could give negative stars for these clowns, I would. These guys are so incredibly bad at business and basic customer service, its amazing they are still operating.
We needed a simple glass picture frame replaced, nothing complicated or hard (or so you'd think), week after week of excuses were received, then its FINALLY finished and I get a rude and abrupt response from the owner insinuating that I should have known that he'd finally finished!
Then he has the audacity to charge $170 for a job that would have taken no more than an hour! He charges Rolls Royce money for Hyundai products.
FUTURE CUSTOMERS, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED, STEER CLEAR!
I'm sure there are other framers around the Ryde/Gladesville area who actually provide a fair job for a fair price.
Terrific Afghan restaurant near the library in the heart of Five Dock. Very pleasant and helpful staff and varied menu. Beautiful authentic music completes a lovely evening.
Literally provided the wrong frame that I ordered stating my choice wasn't available when I came to pick it up - So they selected another without calling me. No apology and charged full price. Awesome.
Pete does a great job. My first time visiting but I'll be back at some stage. Here's a photo of the recent job. Would highly recommend his work.
