Had my passport photos taken here today
and they were super patient and friendly. I touched up my hair and makeup in their big mirror and when I was ready he came to take photos. I’m really indecisive but I never felt rushed and got to see the photos he took, looking back and forth until I picked the one I wanted to be printed. Also only took like 2 minutes and it was printed ready to go (I was the only one in the store but that was pretty quick).
There’s cheaper places in the cbd however I’m happy to pay that bit extra to receive this type of service and get something I’m happy with!

Great quality 35mm film development, and got it back within 24 hours which is unheard of, most places take a week! Definitely recommend whether you live in the city or are there for a couple days like we were:)

Go back there to ask if they still have my photo's file because I lost it and the staff very friendly and helpful and found the file in his camera. Thanks!

Thankyou Tom and Staff, Ive been going there for years and always get above average attention. Who would have thought that such an unassuming little business, could bring such delightful pleasure to the world.

I brought my son to take a photo for a US visa, he charged me $38 which I was surprised and shocked because I took a photo from here 2 years ago for about $20-$25 (I’m not sure). But I didn't say anything because it was taken. And I didn’t asking the price first cause i used to been here. I got the picture half an hour later. It was the worst editing. There is no adjustment of colour, light and brightness and it’s blurry, no clarity comparable to taking pictures from the iPhone 3. And the image obtained is of unusable size I have to go back to the shop again. While I was waiting, another customer came to take photos to apply for a US visa as well. He didn't tell them the price in front of me. But when that customer walked out of the store I went out to ask them, they paid $25! I'm not sure if there's a difference in the price for children and adults. But I feel inequality, exploitation You are not honest with your customers. I will never go back. And I would like to recommend others that if you walk just another block you will find a better shop called “”Digital Foto World”” on Pitt st.but they close on Saturday. I have to use it urgently (that why? !) and they are more responsible. They will check the photo quality standard result with website before sending the photo to you. Make you feel at ease, don't waste time, in better service and better price.

I'm never coming back since they spoiled my b/w roll (stains on almost every shot) and refused to refund $36 that I paid for it. Never risk your film here. UPD: 30/12/19

Very expensive printing prices compared to other shops and very bad customer service.
I wouldn't recommend it.

Tom provided a great and friendly service when we wanted two VHS camera tapes converted to digital format. While one of the tapes converted ok, the other tape broke due to the cassette being stuck internally. Tom managed to repair the tape while transferring it to a good cassette and was then able to transfer it to digital format. This was a great effort and Tom was of great assistance to us.

And i told you before i need pictures for usa visa the lady says don't be fussy just pictures if correctly size it ok i know your make correctly size but not good pictures my collar between looking not perfect picture i don't want to come back for reshoots with your shop anymore and i want to tell everyone don't be unlucky like me with poor service and didn't accept it and very expensive too.

Best experience! Excellent service. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Got my passport photos done here. He was juggling 3 customers at once, all happily looked after.

This is a revised review. I was unhappy about the quality of the passport picture. Poor lighting and print quality. Initially, I wanted 8 copies but I was disappointed with the first 4 printed, so I paid for those 4 and I left the store with it. Rated 1 star after that. I am now giving 2 extra stars looking at the response I received to my review and the courtesy shown. I don't need a refund but want this experience to improve for the rest walking into that store.

I send all our international students to Fotolab Pitt Street because they are given excellent service and their student card passport sized photos are very clear and beautifully created.

Prices are expensive for what you get. Prints were bad quality, with random lines going through most of the photos.
Scans were only 1831x1240 where as at another place has scans that are 2728x1830. NEVER coming back here again.

Quick and good service. She's been helpful and caring. 6 passport pics for 20$ I will come back again!

I paid big money to develop 2 rolls here. The images were sent to me in 4 emails (even though i asked for dropbox) with unclear, inconsistent subject lines. The photos were jumbled up, tiny, and completely washed out. Very sad.there were particularly meaningful and important memories in those rolls.

If your film and your memories mean anything to you then I'd suggest going to Digidirect or Rewind Photo Lab.
