Such a nice guy, great honest service and really fast. Been there twice for separate phones already.
Ram was exceptionally helpful. He took his time, was happy to explain why my phone was behaving as it was etc etc. A delightful young man who actually gives great customer experience.
Urvish is remarkably knowledgeable and helpful and got the job done of fixing my iPhone in good time! Thanks so much:)
So helpful! Took my phone in to repair as I thought it was far more broken that it was - the person here told me they suspected it wasn’t an issue with my phone and did some tests with chargers etc (took 5 mins) and saved me a lot of $$ by finding out the issue was just my charger after all. Very patient and nice, no rip offs, genuine good service:)
What a bloody legend. Dropped my phone at the gym the morning I was flying out for work and turned up at 9am when he opened desperate for him to fix my phone immediately so I could get in a cab.
Super nice guy, did a fantastic job and it looks immaculate again!
So happy.
Urviss he is a legend. Friendly, helpfully and professional.
The best services ever. Surely come back
I was in a real pickle when my phone without warning caked it. Raj and team got me a loan phone whilst they organised a phone suitable to my needs and budget. The service was excellent and extremely helpful. I will buy from these guys again and will recommend to everyone I know.
Thanks guys really appreciate your kindness this week! ️️️️ Love my new phone!
Urvish customer service was extremely professional. He has helped me twice with my phone and I highly recommend him.
He is at the Kings Cross Station.
Faulty Parts & Bad Service.
Don't use Fone Kingdom unless you want your phone ruined by rude amateurs.
Just walk across Darlinghurst Road and get everything done properly at Mobile Phone Care next to Coles.
Full Story:
I'm writing this because I don't want anyone to go through what I've been through.
I ordered an iPhone screen replacement at Fone Kingdom. The first repair attempt failed spectacularly - every second row of picture elements was black and the Home button stopped working. Despite this obvious failure, the repairman attempted to convince me to accept the repair telling me that the faulty new screen can be still used, that the Home button is 'not really necessary' and can be substituted with an app. He attempted to smoothen things with an offer of a free screen protector.
I rejected the failed repair and stayed at the counter to observe the installation of a new screen.
The repairman kept dropping the screws on the floor and even lost one screw inside of my phone. Recovery of the screws was accompanied by jokes about surgeons losing scalpels and clamps inside of their patients.
In the middle of the procedure, he put my phone aside to replace another screen for a walk-in customer who turned out to be from the same country as the repair person. I had to wait for approximately extra 30 minutes for that man to get his phone fixed. When the repairman resumed fixing my phone he explained that he had to give that walk-in man a priority because people from his country are 'much nicer'.
The second replacement screen appeared to work fine, all picture elements were working and the Home button was working again.
But that wasn't the end of the matter. Soon I noticed that the phone started crashing for no reason, quite often the screen was not responsive and was behaving as if it was 'possessed' - it was scrolling and pressing buttons all by itself without any input. On top of all that the phone started getting really hot.
One week later I went back to the Fone Kingdom and demonstrated new faults to another repair person. He told me that my phone was probably faulty and it was nothing to do with the screen replacement.
I went to the Apple store and tested my phone, The Apple Store specialist told me that the screen was not a genuine Apple part and recommended a professional replacement. They also mentioned that the phone might have been damaged by a static electricity discharge during the previous repair attempt.
I was getting sick of the whole episode and was ready to pay extra money to get everything fixed. When I was shopping at Coles I noticed another phone repair shop and decided to get a quote from Mobile Phone Care. The price was more affordable compared to Apple's and the owner of the shop looked much more professional than her 'competition' from Fone Kingdom. She was using an electrostatic discharge cable.
My phone was repaired within 40 minutes, the screen was fast and smooth, no crashes, no overheating, no 'possessed' behaviour and everything was working the way it should!
I'd like to state that this review is based on my true experience, I have a witness and receipts to prove it. Fone Kingdom provides low-quality parts, poor workmanship, and appalling customer service.
Oh raj is the man to see he mite smell bad and look ugly but he really goes over and beyond to help you
If you can give him 5 stars for not being so smelly well do so
Nick is a legend, got my phone fixed very quickly whilst I waited, great service would recommend 100% Thank you for fixing it so fast, appreciated.
Great service, fixed my charging port and microphone issues free of charge! Will come straight here if I have have issues with my phone in the future!
E kingdom in the kings cross rail station so far did the best service for my mobile phone, the technician name nick very good in service I recommend them.
Took my phone in to get the screen replaced. New screen has a blue mark right at the top but the person who fixed it refused to acknowledge he might have made a mistake and wouldn’t even hear me out. He kept arguing that it was already there beforehand even though I payed for the whole display to be replaced and that it shouldn’t be there anymore if he replaced the whole screen. I feel like he took advantage of the situation and wouldn’t even bother listening to me. Never take your phone here
Mobile had power but blank screen. Thought screen was broken but Nick found a way to reset without loss of data. Fantastic service!
Came in last minute as my screen had just smashed Nick helped me out 20-30 minutes later was a brand new phone, made sure I was satisfied and charged me an amazing price! Best in the area. Cheers Nick
Really good place, the staff is really sweet, we got help from Huzefa and he is so helpful and kind
Thank you
