Absolutely top-notch care from Dr. Royan. From the moment I walked into the clinic, I felt welcomed and in good hands. Dr. Royan took the time to listen to my concerns, offered insightful advice, and made sure I was comfortable throughout my entire visit. The level of professionalism and expertise displayed was truly second to none. Couldn't recommend Dr. Royan highly enough. If you're in need of medical care, look no further

Firstly, this is my first ever review and I don't normally even consider leaving one, but FMP Wollongong deserve it!
I can't speak for all of the doctors there, but Dr Marcel Ernst is by far the best doctor that I have ever seen, and I have seen quiet a few!
I've struggled with several health issues throughout my life, both physically and mentally and Dr Ernst has not only provided professional knowledge and assistance with these issues, but he genuinely cares about my well being and goes above and beyond to ensure that I receive the best help possible.
I strongly recommend him to anyone seeking a knowledgeable and compassionate doctor.
Also, the receptionists, and pathologist there are all very polite, welcoming and professional.
Overall, I couldn't think of a better medical practice:)

Dr Royan is wonderful. He has made me feel at ease throughout my pregnancy by genuinely caring about my wellbeing. I also see the nurse whose name I have forgotten but she is also friendly and professional. She went out of her way to find my old records so that I didn't have to. Also i've never waited longer than 5 minutes to be seen.

Over three years ago I decided to switch from medical centres to FMP, and Dr. Marcel Ernst has been my doctor ever since. I've never regretted the move, and found the medical attention much more personalised and detailed. You're not just "another patient", but attended to by a doctor who knows and cares about your medical history.

The wait can occasionally be a bit long, but that could mean they're not rushing through patients, and if someone else needs more time and attention, I'm okay with the wait. For the quality of professional service given (and that includes Reception), it's definitely worth the wait.

It's a bulk billing practice which is another plus. The reception staff our exceptionally friendly and nice. They have onsite pathology and the pathology Nurse has always been friendly and is very good at getting needles in the first time - I have problem veins. I recommend them to all my family and friends.

The reception staff our exceptional friendly and nice. Dr Hyare took time to listen. It's a bulk billing practice which is another plus. They have onsite pathology and nurse. Nurse was also friendly. I recommend them to all my family and friends.

Really expensive place!
I paid 70 dollars for two minutes consultation, just to have a new pills prescriptions (female tabs). It’s was 30 dollars when I did it the first time in Hobart so I am a bit desapointed.
I also wait 30 minutes because my doctor was late and the secretary didn’t write my name well so I had to go back, wait again for the doctor to finally have my prescription with the good name. It was hard and expensive just for a easy prescription.

DEFINITELY NOT FOR WOMEN BACKPAPER
Should be alright for other people ;)

Booked an appointment for 12.30pm. I arrived 5-10 minutes early. I sat waiting for almost 45 minutes, watching and listening as he called up people who had booked times after me. When I finally went in I feel like he didn’t even listen and he just brushed me off and told me to go home.

Ive been going to this medical centre for a number of years now, all of the doctors are such lovely people. Very genuine and very caring, theyve always listened to all my concerns and been honest with their responses. I love the fact i can book an appointment through the health engine app too, so very helpful!

Worst customer service by the call attender or the receptionist, I’ve called them to book an appointment with all respect and politeness she said they are fully booked for this week and call us on the day for next weeks appointment and we will see if we can put you on the list.
Second part where I asked her okay just another question before I end the call and she repeated the first part again and hung up as if she was in a rush to catch next flight on the airport. I repeated twice just one last question.

Just very very poor man very poor service. I understand there is a lot of work load on every employee but it’s your job dear, it’s your job.

Been a patient here for some years and it pains me to see the practice in the state it has fallen into ever since Kay at the reception left and Dr. Chalissery left. Please FMP Wollongong - friendly, patient, empathetic reception staff are a must. Patient confidentiality by said staff is also a basic must. Please, please - I understand there is a pandemic and no one is immune, but reception staff can still be friendly, empathetic and patient. People who call in are usually unwell or caring for someone who is unwell. And if you're not a patient, empathic and friendly person who understands patient confidentiality- then medical reception positions are not for you.

Am registered on hotdoc for covid vaccinations.saw that they had pfazer appointments this week, went to book online through hotdoc tho message advised as I was not a patient of the practice to phone to book.which I did 8.10am this morning. The staff member was so adamant that I had to book online and that I mustn't have been registered with hotdoc even though I insisted I was registered and even read out the message to her that comes up to say to phone the practice if you're not a patient.all she kept saying was they weren't making appointments over the phone.

I phoned them back at 10.45am to reclarify all of this and of course, I now spoke to someone who knew what was going on. I HAD done the RIGHT thing and of course all pfazer appointments had been booked.
I wonder how many other people missed out cause of this one staff member.

My wife left in tears on the phone. After finding out she was pregnant a day before hand. Doctor very rude of phone to her. Not help what so ever. Keep away from this place.
