Flinders Slopes reviews
31The view from this outlook is very good, but would be better if there are more spaces for public seatings and toilets too.
Do hill runs here most weekends, great part of my fitness routine only takes from 20 minutes to 40 minutes for a great cardio workout, great for testing your fitness levels
Great place
Steep hill
Good for running up and testing yourself
Whole area very nice, many parks and very family friendly
Recently renovated park, wide open spaces for bbq’s and family gatherings. Quite a lot of sheltered areas with tables/chairs although very popular on Sunday’s - so get there early if you want one! Nice playground for the kids. Plenty of car parking too.
Multiple walking paths take you along Prospect Creek and beyond.
Nice park and it has good equipment for the kids to play on but it's ruined a bit by people who leave their rubbish and can't be bothered picking up after themselves.
Such beautiful, amazing and huge park park with lots of activities you can do, best place for families and kids. Play ground, river walk side. George river is good for fishing. Me and my kid have enjoyed our day here. Toilets located everywhere
Amazing place for family and kids, kids playground are superb and the BBQ area are so neat and clean, you can plan for whole day with your family, friends and kids. Very vibrant place you have everything here, walkways and cycling road. Overall experience is outstanding
Nice park, has recently been renovated with new swings! Parking could do with an upgrade though
Nice walking and cycling path. Relaxing atmosphere with tree surroundings. Good for a walk alone, with partner or family.
Nice bike/walk or run trail. Roughly 6kms from start to finish (starting point before the hill). Massive hill good for sprints or to pull cramps from being unfit haha! New playground area being built, also duck pond area nice for the kids. Plenty of seating. Bbq areas as well. Maybe bring table cloths if you plan to eat there cause the birds think its their toilet area. Other than that, nice space for the family to get some fresh air and to get your 10000 step count or even tryna reach a PB with your running or sprints
Beautiful area! Great undercover bbq huts, perfect for kids party. Upgrading the kids glayground looks awesome from the pictures
Quiet and family friendly place. Good for a picnic with young children. The reason I'm only giving this 4 out of 5 is that this place can be dirty. People use it but don't clean up after themselves. Yiu have to bring your own BBQ if you want to cook your meat.
Plenty of shaded sitting and BBQ. Kids swings and level playground. Long walking/bicycle tracks.
Highly recommended for exercise whether walking, running, cycling or even just a leisure stroll while enjoying mother nature. It is a family friendly Park with well maintained BBQ and Toilet facilities that are well looked after by the Council crew who are very friendly.they always wave or say hello when their around.they'll always give way to you whether your walking or running. Perfect place for those early morning walks.
You will never imagine that a natural reserve like this exists in the Middle of a bustling city.
Plenty of Parking and long tracks for hiking and cycling.
This place is great for family gatherings or for exercising alone or in groups. So much space, paths, play areas and public BBQ's available. Called slopes because there are several big green hills you run, slide, climb or even grass ski.
2 very large Car parks and 2 public toilet blocks available also
We had a great time and its such a beautiful place the nature looks so good but the female toilets were super dirty
Great walk, there was so much talk about the artworks, but I could only see 3 in 8km!
Not enough carparks.
Beautiful place, plenty of parking, convenient location.but very poor amenities, toilets are not well maintained.
This hill is an excellent place to do some exercise. Plenty of people use the hill to walk or run up and down. Parking is located directly opposite the top of the hill. Limited shade from some trees. Toilets are located 490 metres to the south.
